I felt like that was one of the least entertaining games I've seen in a while. I really think the SEC is overrated. The QB play was some of the worst I've seen, and it had nothing to do with the "great" defenses. They were just lofting passes left and right. The only offensive player I saw out there worth anything was McCluster. Maybe the Big 12 has me spoiled, but man... that was some boring football. If everyone is going to say that the Big 12 is having a down year, I don't know how you can look at this game and say the SEC is doing much better. I feel like 'Bama and Florida are legit, and the rest of the SEC is no better than the rest of the Big 12 after Texas & OU. And even then, none of these four teams has shown anything super impressive this year so who knows. Four weeks. Four top five teams lose. What a sport.
Before anyone jumps on me, I meant to add that none of these teams except for Alabama beating VT has shown anything somewhat impressive.
I doubt it. With Spurrier as coach I wouldn't consider them a player. With the way they were calling their plays on offense in the 4th quarter last night, almost seemed like he wanted to set Ole Miss up for the win. They don't have that Killer mentality and play passive on offense when ahead.
No, it is called Ole Miss was overrated. Like A_3PO said, Ole Miss being ranked that high was a monumental joke. Both them and SC will probably win 7 to 8 games this season.
Agree 100%. They did everything in their power to give away the game to Ole Miss. Their QB, Garcia, is terrible.
Nice article dealing with Houston Nutt's history of chokejobs: http://www.sportingnews.com/college...e-learned-nutt-better-when-expectations-low-0
Anyone know of good streaming sites to catch college football online? Justin.tv keeps kickimg me out after 2 mins.
Well.. he's doing better now. Texas taking care of business. Colt better stop throwing these interceptions every game if expects to win.
Who ever thought Colt McCoy had a future in the NFL? I mean this as a serious question. Miami looks like they are totally unprepared to play football today.
He's like 11 on kipers board. He should go in the first round. Third qb taken after Bradford and Sneed. He is very accurate and pretty athletic. He's shown that he can run the ball too and his durability issues have gone away since he bulked up some. Like Sanchez, he is 6'2" and a proven leader.
Would Asian Sensation or someone else who went to Oregon talk to me about their uniforms? What's the deal with having 25 different jerseys and helmets? I thought I'd seen them all before today. Did Bellotti start this stuff or did UO do this before him? Why? BTW, nice job kicking Cal in the pants. You guys have one of the biggest home field advantages in college football. Autzen is amazing.
AMAZING GAME! AMAZING Throwback uniforms! Autzen.... where ranked teams come to die! Phil Knight owner of Nike is a UO Alumn so we basically have anything and everything when it comes to uniform combinations.... everything from the good to the bad to the straight up ugly.
