They won't jump missisippi state or TCU this week. They will likely jump tcu and stay ahead of baylor if they beat Wisconsin.
We'll see. Barrett being hurt does change things. I'll be surprised if they win next week and a close win may not be enough depending on what Baylor does next week. Wisconsin beating Minn does play into things.
SMH. It's always something with Georgia. I'll cut them some slack because they had to be deflated by the Mizzou game yesterday. Maybe Ga Tech can do everyone a favor next week and beat FSU.
Even if OSU wins out, I don't think they make it anymore if Barrett's injury is season-ending. I know the basketball committee takes into account injuries, and I believe the football one does. Without him, they just aren't as good a team. Now Baylor really needs Minnesota to lose. If they win today, they could win the Big10, which would be a huge feather in the cap for TCU.
If the season were to end at this very second, it's likely that both TCU and Baylor would be in the playoffs.
Amen to that! I would care except yesterday's results made this game pretty insignificant. Too bad that seeing the ugly mug of Paul Johnson makes my skin crawl...
At the time I posted, FSU and MSU were losing, and OSU had lost its QB (which ESPN confirmed the committee does consider). Who would be your top 4 in that scenario?

Well, I mean yeah if FSU and MSU both lose then you'd have a case. I thought you meant prior to this week's results. That's my fault! MSU is looking shaky right now. They could lose. An FSU loss would stun me, but we'll see. I think if the Top 4 win out, those are the 4 that will remain, but MSU seems like a possible candidate to drop, in which case Baylor should take their place if they can win out. TCU shouldn't go if Baylor finishes with the same record. That'd be absurd.
Oh yeah, I agree with all of that. MSU will be interesting if they win out. It doesn't help that Baylor is not looking impressive. My post was just a quirky exact-moment-in-time thing. It's doubtful that both MSU and FSU lose.
