LOL I just noticed it before I noticed you quoted yourself. Well played. He (Blount) totally changed the momentum of the game as soon as Chip punched him in.
Trust me, the media was buzzing around these parts like crazy before he finally committed to OSU. Never once did you get the vibe that Oregon was anything more than just an intriguing idea being tossed out there. Hell, I don't even think he ever actually visited Oregon. Nobody in their right mind makes a college choice without a visit (official or unofficial) first. It came down to OSU and Michigan. He strongly considered Penn St as well but trashed them due to their rural location which generated all the hoopla a couple weeks ago with the t-shirts made for that PSU/OSU game. Some, like myself, feel he chose playing at OSU over playing the spread at Michigan because he wants to learn how to play in the pro's. I think he'll bolt to the NFL the first chance he gets, and theoretically, playing a more traditional QB's role in OSU gave him the best chance to prepare for that opportunity.
Big day tomorrow... Can't wait... Start out by watching Cincy and Pitt clash... Then FL and Alabama.... then of course... Texas and Nebraska.. hope all the games are interesting.
Interesting....kinda cool that they paint the endzone for the opposing team in the championship game when it's on ECU's home field. Obviously each team gets an endzone in a neutral site game, but pretty sweet to do it at home for a championship game.
I'm certainly not cocky enough to count the past 3 weeks as a given, but I've been waiting for today as Gator fan. The biggest battle will be between Bama's D-line and UF's O-line IMHO. Bama's best chance is to pressure Tebow and force turnovers. Otherwise I think UF will contain them. BTW, I love Kiffin's beef w/ Meyer. He's like a bitter ex-girlfriend who can't stop making digs at him.
I should be watching the Coogs, but watching Pitt/Cinncy duke it out in the snow is what football is supposed to be like this time of year. Pitt up 7.
