It takes them a while to warm up sometimes. In several of their games, it took until the 2nd half for them to blow up on the opponent. Now Alabama fans can shut up and drop the "we control our own destiny" claims. Now their season comes down to torpedoing Auburn (or not) Friday after Thanksgiving. Auburn has two weeks to prepare for that matchup and is a clear favorite, IMO, even though it's at Tuscaloosa.
Now I want Auburn to beat Bama.. I don't want any of those non-bcs qualifiers into the national championship game. Oregon-Auburn FTW.
Why not? Would be interesting to see what Boise or TCU could do it that game. Would not want to see two non bcs qualifiers in the championship game.
If Oregon makes the BCS Title Game, Auburn is the only team with a chance to hang with them. I absolutely guarantee you Boise State would get steamrolled and the game wouldn't be interesting (the vast talent difference and the revenge factor). I doubt TCU would hang with them more than a quarter or a half. Auburn would have a chance to make a game of it and could actually win. And both Oregon and Auburn bring fresh meat to the table, just as much as Boise State and TCU from my standpoint. It's great that Bama, LSU, OU, UT, Florida, Ohio State, etc are all out of the running.
Either one that plays will outscore TCU or Boise... I think it's a better match up anyway with Auburan and Oregon.
What? You mean Bama won't be passing Boise State? BTW - Kubiak could take lessons in playing to win........from LSU today. DD
One things clear though (about what you were arguing last week), Bama would've passed BSU and TCU had they won out their schedule.

Yup. And right through that defense. As much flack Greg Davis and the O get, and maybe I've missed it, but that D isn't getting anything close to the blame the O gets.
