He had both feet in. They had visual evidence, alright - involving ridiculous ratings and interest for an undefeated Florida-Alabama showdown in the title game. They've done it all season long.
Yeah for SEC officials...he got TWO feet down...that was an INT. Getting an SEC school into the NC is obviously their priority. DD
That would appear to be the case. It doesn't take much to record a completion or INT on the college level. I thought he definitely got one (maybe two) feet down. I guess the replay judge thought otherwise.
wont matter. sec commish mike silve will give em a slap on the wrist aka 1 game suspension. hes becoming a joke, supporting a half a game suspension for spikes eye gouge attempt, on top of the officials being garbage all year long
No, but it matters to the SEC........they want that $$$$$ and prestige... If Alabama would have lost today, and LSU beat Florida in SWC championship game, then they risk being shut out of the NC game. Florida and Alabama have had officials help this year, it is sickening. DD
On Colt winning the Heisman by default: Tebow is going to win. Even though he is playing like crap, Florida has been number 1 all year. And unless your team is in the top 2 ranks, no one is considering you.
Unless Tebow plays lights out the rest of the way, there's no way he wins it. He's been too mediocre, and he's already won it once. You have to have a pretty special season to win it twice. Cold and Tebow both have had sub-par (for them) seasons, but Colt has three advantages: the Texas offense has looked more impressive, his numbers have been better, and lots of people think Texas/Colt were screwed last year.
This is not going to happen. Tebow will not win it unless he has a few amazing moments in the next few weeks and McCoy has a HUGE meltdown. Neither f those things will happen.
texas state just had an awesome ending...TD with 27 seconds left after giving up the lead a minute earlier. driver's seat for another slc championship and a playoff bid.
