I feel bad. Iowa losing and thereby no longer clouding up the BCS picture is good for college football, but by the same token part of me was rooting for them to win too. It didn't matter how ugly the game was, they simply found a way to win. That Stanzi kid would be garbage the first three quarters then turn into Joe Montana in the 4th quarter. They had to play this one without him. It doesn't seem fair but ohhhh well.....such is the case in life.

The QB thing shouldn't be an excuse. They played Northwestern who ALSO had to use their backup.

Right. But this Northwestern game followed the same script of Iowa trailing and coming back for the win. What was the statistic again....they've trailed in 8/9 of their last games that they've won? No disrespect to Northwestern but just saying that Stanzi kid has a unique gift of playing ugly then delivering when it counts the most. Very Eli Manning like.

Justice was done today. After winning over IU last week because of that joke of a referee crew, it was proper that Iowa lost today. If Stanzi doesn't return next week, Iowa won't have a chance against Ohio State and probably won't make the Rose Bowl.

Yeah, that's true. I don't know, I guess part of everybody will always root for the underdog. Iowa has been dissed and dismissed all year -- given a chance by nobody (sound familiar, Rockets fans?). But yeah, last weak was messed up and agreed that they're toast without Stanzi.

I hope so, but Alabama has as good of a defense as Texas, and LSU has an anemic offense.

The SEC has weak offenses.....which make their defenses look better than they really are...imo.

Iowa never deserved to be ranked at all. After squeeking out miracle wins against Northern Iowa, Michigan St., and paying off the refs last week against Indiana, they were not deserving of a #4 ranking.

I'm glad they finally lost and it caught up to them so the Hawkeyes can shutup.

LOL @ people thinking they have a shot at beating Texas. Where's John Lopez now? Heisman candidate Jerrod Johnson throws an INT for the loss.

I'm absolutely humiliated by this Aggie loss. I am just, wow, speechless. WTF was that? what has our team come to? we've become the laughing stock of the NCAA. To Colorado? really? OMFG.

that idiot chancellor McKinney and Bill Byrne are screwing us over, they drove Elsa out of town, they hired an NFL reject, and they're embarrassing our great University. But we're freaking stuck. The board of regents are all Rick Perry's guys. every single damn one of them. They can't do crap, and McKinney will remain here until he destroys this University.. Not just in athletics, but in everything..

    UGGHHHHHHHHHHH

They do have a shot. anything can happen in a rivalry game. Colt has two losses against them.....

That doesn't mean they have a good chance to win though. Maybe 10% chance? 20%?
