Ohio State and Wisconsin play each other in Columbus on Nov. 3 so one of those teams will lose. USC plays Cal the next weekend in Berkeley so one of those teams will lose. But you are right there could be 4 conference champions with undefeated records. USC/Cal winner out of the Pac-10 LSU out of the SEC (highly unlikely with their tough schedule, but could happen) South Florida out of the Big East (still play at Rutgers) Boston College out of the ACC (still play at NDame, VT, Clemson and Maryland, home to Bowling Green, FSU, and Miami along with the ACC Championship game) Ohio State/Wisconsin winner out of the Big 10
Don't count on USC. Cal and the Ducks played each other very tough while USC almost got tripped up by a team inferior to Cal or Oregon and USC has to travel to both Eugene and Berkeley.
I'm surprised the Ducks dropped 3 places with all of the upsets in the top 10. I figured the Ducks would hold their spot and might even advance.
So let me get this straight....Kansas State goes into Austin and beats Texas by 20 but yet are still ranked behind the Horns in the AP poll (despite having the same number of losses) and aren't even RANKED in the USA Today poll?? WTF??!! This is why I hate the current system that we have in college football. Especially the BS of having polls so early into the season - the first poll should not come out until after the 2nd week of October.
