Rice stadium may be ugly compared to newer stadiums, but it is my all time favorite place to watch football. Growing up, I went to many Southwest Conference games at Rice stadium.
Rice Stadium is truly a great stadium - perhaps the best sightlines of any college stadium I've been to. Talk to me when Robertson Stadium has hosted a Super Bowl - Rice Stadium has. Robertson Stadium is worse than many high school venues.
Hey ding-dong. Rice Stadium was a joint project with UH. You can't exactly brag about it. "You're welcome".
sorry noob, early bird gets the worm. Plus it ain't all about the Coogs - remember Rice has scoreboard, brah. When you have scoreboard, you can post the thread, until then, you can only look longingly at the Bayou Bucket which sits within Historic Rice Stadium.
Talk to me when Rice Stadium is chosen to be the home of an MLS team. (and wins 2 championships there, no less)
It's on the campus of.....Rice University. For a little history lesson, Robertson Stadium was built by HISD and originally called "Public School Stadium". UH upgraded by moving their games to Rice Stadium when it was built...
The line is going the wrong way if you ask me. Rice has played a lot better the last 3 weeks. Plus it's one of them r-eye-valry games.
Houston will win, and the Rice kids will all graduate and get better jobs. But UH will never be in the BCS; and Rice will never, ever be the "Harvard of the South."
