This Saturday at the Third Ward's Robertson Stadium: The Rice Owls vs. Houston Cougars.

    Some facts to consider:
    1) Rice has scoreboard, after soundly defeating UH last year at Historic Rice Stadium
    2) Rice brings the longer winning streak into the game
    3) Rice defeated UTEP, who took down the Cougars earlier this year

    discuss.

Your "A beat B, and C beat B, so now C will beat A" prediction won't work, sir. I think it will not be a close game, considering how well UH is playing. I will still root for RICE in this one, though, 'cuz I do.

    Rice looses by 40.

Not much to discuss... Rice vs McNeese St would be a good one.

I root for Rice against teams other than the Cougars, but I don't think this one will be close. You coming to the game bigtexxx? I know that you are a little leery of the UH "neighborhood", but my 68 year old mother is coming to the game with me, and she has volunteered to escort you into the stadium so that you will be safe.

She even says she will pick you up on Sunset, but that you should be careful not to be run over by a pack of Great Danes and Bichon Frises.

And UH beat Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Tulsa, and SMU who all beat Rice. I'm not sure the common opponent argument is the way you want to go.

Dur Dur DUR! Try to rile up Cougar Fans with meaningless stats because I'm an attention-starved troll!

Rice is going to get their asses beat by Cougar High and it will be hilarious.

I hope I see a Rice student at Home Depot today, I'll be sure to give them the finger and bash them over the head with a 2 by 4.

Oh yeah brah, Whataburger sucks the big one.

Hey, only UH grads can make Third Ward cracks. Don't be making fun of our high school stadium. And while we're on that subject... Rice Stadium, historic? It's probably the ugliest stadium I've ever been in, bar none. I've seen more charming prisons.

Yes, they beat UTEP which CLEARLY means they will win tomorrow night.

But... Sportsbook.com has the opening line at Rice +29.5

My cougar math is a little shaky, but I think that means people who gamble for a living are expecting an ass-thrashing.

Sad thing is, U of H built that Stadium in conjunction with Rice. Why we let them have it, I'll never know.

Guess we got tired of having to wash the nerd gayness off of us after each home game.

Was about to post that Fulgore is going to be angry. You know, this can be the Rice game thread and you can start the UH game thread. Feel free to use the higher ranking in the title than the AP's. UH #23 BCS & #20 USA Today.
