He probably didn't directly. But let's think about this rationally. Crabtree lives in an apartment with a fellow football player who's apparently dealing enough coke that the freaking DEA got involved. Typically, that means people coming to the house day and night among other things that go along with dealing. You can't honestly say he didn't know what was going on.

By the way, there are annoying fans for every school. It isn't limited to UT. There's been a fair share of whining from Tech fans, OU fans, Horns fans, etc. etc., etc.

He probably did know the guy was dealing, but to say this is going to cause him to drop in the draft is dumb.

I don't give a sh** about Tech or Texas and I find most of the myopic debates (I agree ima) here pretty amusing.

But the article says he was arrested for dealing in New Mexico. Isn't it possible he only does this idiotic stuff when he goes back home, not in Lubbock where he's a semi-public figure? I think it's conceivable that Crabtree and the other roommate don't know about it. Or only have knowledge about it because Sanders told them.

True, unless it's somehow proven he did know or participated...which hopefully he isn't that stupid.

It was something about "Tech Tards". That plus the thread he started a few weeks ago comparing Tech to a venereal disease in the title was kind of the reason for my post. The OP seems to be just a little obsessed. I probably shouldn't have lumped most UT fans in with him.

Yeah, that seems pretty petty and not very clever...

If he's your roomate, how do you not know? At least a little right? I'm sure Crabtree will be fine...he'll be able to convice teams he had nothing to do with it (which I'm sure is the case) and be a high pick, and deservedly so...

Do you have any idea how many Book Em Horns threads we have had to deal with on this bbs and how much crap slung by one specific really annoying UT hater?

If the Rockets were screwed out of a spot in the playoffs, the Rockets thread would be insane and people would be just as bad as horns fans are being right now.

And I shouldn't have replied to your post with that drawing I did of a spider. :)

So now that we've settled that, can I have my drawing of a spider back please?

Well, it would appear the OP got banned due to putting that title.

    Fair trade off.

    Not really. I don't care.

    Subjective. And boring.

    That's a terrible analogy.

QFT. Why would you put yourself in that kind of predicament if your Crabrtree (Star wideout, about to go pro, potential to make millions). It's not like your roomate was doing or selling a G here or there. 50g is a bit of weight and that kid is federally effed.

Crabtree just might have fallen a couple rounds. This definitely puts him under the knucklehead category.

My standpoint is that Houston got screwed because the refs didn't call this crucial steal. (Whether or not it would have impacted the final outcome of the game, who knows...)

As for the comparison to the BCS mess this year, I feel equally screwed that GIVEN the three way tie in the Big XII South, the Big XII screwed Texas by relying on a crappy BCS tiebreaker.

My analogy says how "cheated" I feel by the system. So eat me.
