Thanks again Baqui, it looks like ur my only hope this week, which is understandable. I'll let them know my pick will be Kansas.

We won again, and one person was knocked out, so things are definitely looking good. Here is the list of games this week:

    Colorado @ Florida State
    Louisiana Lafayette @ Kansas State
    Virginia Tech @ Nebraska
    TCU @ Oklahoma
    Arkansas @ Texas
    Army @ Texas A&M

Missouri & Texas Tech have bye's this week.

I don't think I specified it before, but I am this time by bolding the teams that I have to choose from. Thanks again Baqui, and everyone else, for your assistance.

Either K-State or A&M. Both are bad teams playing terrible opponents at home this week -- take them while you can. I think A&M is slightly worse so I'd take them, but you're good with either one.

you know what? ^ is right - this is probably the last game A&M might win this year. take A&M to beat Army...

Army has lost to Akron, Temple, and New Hampshire (a lower division team)...

We won again, thanks to your help. Pretty much everyone took A&M, so unfortunately we didn't lose anyone. Here are the games this week, and thanks to conference play I think this may be a little more difficult, but I'm not the expert here :D

Texas @ Colorado (I can take either of these teams)
Texas Tech @ Kansas State (I can take either of these teams)
Missouri @ Nebraska (I can take either of these teams)
    Oklahoma @ Baylor

So the bolded teams are the ones I can take this week. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks yet again for everyone's help!

Thanks Baqui, I guess I don't need to update this thread any longer. I'll definitely bump it up when/if we win :) Thanks for all of your help.

I'm not sure about Baqui's picks -- primarily because Tech hasn't quite looked themselves this season, and Manhattan can be a tough place to play. Ask USC about road games in conference. K-State does have legitimate offensive talent.

I guess it depends on how long you expect the game to play out. From my experience, survivor leagues rarely make it to the end of the season, and people who lose usually do so because they try too hard to keep their big hitters (OU, Mizzou) too late. I'd go:

    Oklahoma over Baylor
    KSU over A&M
Tech over A&M (really, really don't like the Nebraska-ISU pick, both of those teams suck ass and at home ISU has a good chance)
Nebraska over Baylor (much prefer to take a team like Nebraska at home)
    Missouri over Baylor
    Texas over Baylor
Colorado over OSU (but probably won't get to the last week)

Good luck! The only one I'm skeptical of is the KSU - A&M game. But really since you have to take K-State sometime, it was their only remaining winnable game. Aggy is horrible though so it's a pretty good bet. I'm guessing that the final two weeks of the season aren't in play, correct?

I would pick that way too if it doesn't make it to the final week. But, in the event that it does, CU will lose to a high-powered Poke offense.

Well, we're still in it, but so are quite a few other people. 4 of the people remaining have Kansas St. and Iowa St. as their only teams left, so I'm assuming they will be out of it after the final week. In order to break the tie what we're having to do is pick the winners from 7 games, the person that picks the most winners, will win the pot. If there is a tie, the pot will be split. Taking part in this means that Missouri must win at Iowa State, which seems pretty likely. I have until November 20th to turn in these picks, here are the 7 games:

    November 22
    Iowa State at Kansas State
    Texas Tech at Oklahoma

    November 27
    Texas A&M at Texas

    November 28
    Colorado at Nebraska

    November 29
    Baylor at Texas Tech
Kansas vs. Missouri (in Kansas City)
    Oklahoma at Oklahoma State

Hopefully we can pick the 7 winners and pull this out for Clutchfans. Thanks yet again for everyone's help with this.

Thank you Baqui, you've got me this far, so there's no reason not to go with your picks one last time. I'll post an update as soon as I get it.

    Thanks again!
