    Best chance at the national title game is if OU loses.

    Best (only) chance at the big 12 title game is if OSU loses.

    There is no way Tech goes to the NC game. The only team that can leap frog us is OU.

    Put another way, if OU wins:

    we have a 20% chance at the B12 Championship & Nat'l Title game

    If OSU wins:

    We have an 80% chance at the Nat'l Title game and 0% for the B12 Championship.

    yeah, me too. should be interesting.

    fired up for baylor hoops. they beat #14 AZ St. last night...they play #25 Wake Forest tomorrow night. If they win that game, my guess is they're ranked somewhere around #20 this week. We'll see...

    This game is turning out alright for UT so far. OU isn't looking like a dominant team which would have hurt the very slim chance we have of overtaking them in the human polls. Even if they pull it out, voters might rethink their ballot.

    It's still a slim chance, I know.

    I say that is pretty accurate. Why the national media keeps saying UT should be rooting for OU is confusing me.

    The national media is confused as to what UT's goals are. They are focused on the Big 12 Championship Game. They think that's what Texas is after when UT is more concerned about a possible MNC.

    OU has benefited greatly from the short field on the 2 point conversion, the 2 point TD, and the tipped pass. When they've put long drives together, OSU has forced a lot of 3rd downs but hasn't been able to stop OU on 3rd and short.

    And now throw in a fumble recovered and turned into a TD.

    He's also lucky he didn't fumble that ball before for a touchback.

    OSU has had chances but they just haven't made the plays when they needed to. Their defense is gonna have to step up in the 4th to have any chance.

    This is not true Major, OU could win tonight and lose to Mizzou....and UT still goes to the NC game.
