[College Football] Big Ten, Texas have initial talks

Besides a conference championship game, I can't see any of those teams playing one another more than once every 3 years.

There are 12 regular season games. 7 against your division. 3 games against the other division is really pushing it. That would only leave 2 non conference games. I think it's more likely you only play 2 teams across the conference which would mean those teams meet once every 4 years.

We'll see.

 

Texas did beat a stacked Ohio State team in non-conf play the year they won the title.

SoS won't be an issue for Texas any longer!

Well, it has been reported that UT has been trying to get Baylor into the PAC-16, but I don't think UT has been try that hard. I'm sure many people from Baylor have been begging UT to try and help them get in(Perry, Starr, etc). And UT I'm sure has been telling Baylor that they have been working hard to get Baylor included. But, why would UT care about helping out Baylor? If UT really wanted Baylor included, I think they could get it done. But I just don't think they care very much about helping out Baylor. Of course they can't tell the Governor this. UT will probably say they did everything they could to get Baylor included, but it just didn't work out.
