How has OU not dominated the big 12 this last decade?

    6 Big 12 Championships

    texas won 2.

    see the difference?

i never stated OU has dominated texas recently, but OU has dominated the big 12 as a whole this decade.

Let's hope we get into another bcs conference somehow.

I would be totally fine with the big east but not sure how plausible that is with them having 16 teams already.

Baylor goes 3-0 against UT in basketball this year, and a few months later UT can't figure out a way to bring Baylor along to the PAC-16. This is shocking, just shocking!

RT @NCAAsports: Here's a new rumor: WFNI Indianapolis is reporting that along with Nebraska, that Notre Dame, Syracuse, Rutgers & Maryland are Big Ten bound

If this is all in 2012 it proves one thing - The Mayans were Big XII fans.

Now Baylor knows how UH felt in 1995...the only public school in the former SWC not to be invited to the Big 12.

Oh well. IMO the Pac 16 is doing the right thing by taking Colorado.

I think Duke/UNC and Miami/FSU, even now, are enough to keep everyone there happy.

Yup. It's amazing how gullible some folks are to take every single anonymous source from a reporter they've never even heard of before like it's gospel. There is misinformation out all over the place... and it's the reporters without a sound track record that typically take the bait.

CU officials also wouldn't address Baylor's self-promotion campaign to look more attractive than CU if the Pac-10 expands. Bronson Hilliard, spokesman for Colorado chancellor Phil DiStefano said: "There's no need for us to sell ourself. We think our achievements as a university, athletically and academically, stand on their own merits. We're not going to get in a public debate with Baylor on who's more fit to be a member of this or that conference."

If it comes down to Colorado and Baylor, Colorado still has the edge. A Pac-10 insider told The Denver Post that as a major state university, Colorado is a better fit than a private religious school such as Baylor."

True, Kansas will be the biggest loser of the Big 12 breakup.

MWC should add Boise, Kansas, Kansas St., Iowa St., Baylor, Houston, and Fresno.

I would take that if the SEC dont come calling or Pac-10 shuts its door with the current roster.

But if the SEC starts looking to expand it will most likely have to be through the ACC.

Notre Dame should form a conference with all the non-major christian and military schools, pad their schedule and keep their academic standards decent. Or just keep making money off of a 100-year legacy, same diff.

There is no action they can take to stop it. The SEC will pluck four ACC teams to expand from 12 to 16. To survive, the ACC will have to raid the Big East (who will go the way of the Big 12).
