Not sure why this option isn't being discussed further. UT,SFA, SHSU to Pac 10!

KU is in full-blow panic mode right now. There was an article on ESPN the other day talking about KU's Chancellor calling both NU and Mizzou practically begging for them to stay. I do feel bad for their students/alumni but I think their basketball program is good enough to get an offer at some point.

yes, but they've ALWAYS been on each other's schedules. that would be difficult to manage for BU to keep A&M, UT and Tech on their schedule.

Sorry...I was actually referring to the article that mentioned N and KU having a storied rivalry/history. If this game is really important, it would be easy to keep intact. It's one game. Texas and OU managed that for almost a century.
Baylor doesn't have any "rivalries" that I know. I love that they give aTm fits these days, though. Good work, Bearz!

I don't see why Nebraska and Missouri would stay in the Big XII. I think they could legitimately contend in the Big 10 while the power of the Big XII South is something they will never get over.

Texas and Nebraska seem to have best "cards" on the table so far. If Nebraska bolts to Big 10 , i think Texas will go to Pac 10 for sure . Nebraska will have a tougher time in the Big 10 than in the Big 12 North which is very mediocre.

Well i think all this talk is due to Football , which is the "Cash cow " . Even though KU Bball is huge , Football brings so much money it is plainly ridiculous !

Nebraska-OU was hurt just by the formation of the Big XII

They are being begged to stay and the Big 10 really just wants Notre Dame to blink and join up.

    Well ya, she sucked.

I feel like the Joker is wreaking havoc on college football right now. Kansas the first victim.

Absolutely, but out of all the schools that could be potentially left out, KU probably has the best chance of getting an offer because of their prominence in basketball.

This. It'll be almost impossible for NU to return to their elite status with Texas and OU in their way. They have a legitimate chance of winning the Big 10 right off the back and would earn an extra 7 million just off of t.v. revenue while doing so. It really seems like a no-brainer IMO.

It's not up to Nebraska to move first. It's ND, then the Big 10.

Whereas Nebraska can say, "OK let's keep the Big 12 together" and appear to be the one making the choice.

Nebraska to big 10 makes sense. I think U of H is going to be back in a major conference again. If i were the 12, i would rather have tcu or csu than colorado. The basketball of kansas does work big time for any conference no matter what people say. Getting into the tourney and winning games=money.

Stream it if you want. These guys are local wingnuts, so beware...

No one in the big 12 wants another Texas team. Air Force and BYU have been identified as replacements if the big 12 stays together.

So they're just willing to surrender the Texas media market alltogether?

I think this assumption underestimates the Ohio/Pennsylvania and other east coast talent that have nowhere to play but Mich/Mich State, Ohio State and Penn State. Not great football states, but decent football states with larger populations than greater Omaha.
