good thing cincy's defense came to play. their offense is just TRYING to lose... grutza hit his WR in both hands, the chest, and it looked like his chin too...
And OU scored a rather pedestrian (by this season's standards) 35 points against UT. Also, color me unimpressed by the Florida-Alabama game. For the much-vaunted SEC defense, neither team (especially got much pressure on the QB and both offenses were very inconsistent). College football lives in the Big 12 South this season. BCS, give us the two best teams in January: Texas vs OU.
It's not gonna happen, so us Longhorn Fans need to get over it. Florida vs. OK in the BCS Championship game is a given. Should be a good game.
And of course, they gain 5 yards and wind up punting... Just got a safety though. Now 24-22 Hawaii. The defense is carrying this team.
Why would he not? We (Texas) beat OU and have a much more impressive resume than Florida. Alabama losing changes the voting drastically, there should be no clear No. 1 in my mind.
That's obviously the odds-on bet. But I really have yet to hear WHY Florida should jump Texas. Any takers?
They shouldn't....and I would love the BCS to stir up even more controversy by having Florida finish 3rd. That would be AWESOME.... DD
Agree with you, except I want OU to get creamed in the title game and UT isn't good enough to do that to them. UF might.
Never happen, OU and UT are better than UF. HOORAY...Cincy won.....at least UT and OU are 1st and 2nd in one computer. DD
One thing...how bad does it suck to be Alabama? Undefeated, thinking about national championship...now they are looking at playing Utah. I'm not saying Utah can't pull the upset, but you know 'Bama is going to be way down for that game.
They beat the #1 team in the nation and won their conference. Winning the SEC title is kind of a big deal. Agreed. The way OK is playing, I seriously don't see UT beating them if it were to be the matchup, which it won't.
