Bama 3 & out followed by Florida marching down the field rather easily. 7-0 Gators EDIT: That was quick. Bama with a good return and scores off of 2 plays. This is going to be a great game...
Tebow takes too damn long to make passing decisions. Not NFL material. Oh and Saban, I knew you wouldn't let me down. You are the man.
Alabama is getting disrespected by so many college fb fans. #1 team in the nation and people are expecting them to get blown out.
Even though it's now 17-10, I still have great respect for 'Bama's defense. If it was any other team, UF would probably have over 30 points. With Tebow and the deceptive play-calling by Urban Meyer, that offense is very hard to stop.
Man, I'm so used to watching the Big XII that Florida's offense just looks normal and Bama's looks horrendous. Defenses aren't really impressing me too much, though Bama's is above average.
You are crazy. Above average defense? Hahahaha. This is what happens when a spread look meets a real defense. Alabama or Florida will make any Big 12 offense look like slop. Wait and see...
Florida's spread offense is on pace for 34 points, is averaging 5.5 yards per play, and and has scored on 3 out of their 5 drives, all without their best playmaker. Alabama's defense is certainly good - but even that has just make the Florida spread look only "pretty good" instead of "great".
My read on the game is Alabama is in trouble. I get the sense that UF is getting a good read on what Alabama is doing and they are ready to raise it up another notch in the 2nd half. Alabama has to get Julio Jones involved again. Without that one play in the 1st half, this game might be over by now. Of course, with that kiss of death, UF will crumble and get dominated.
I think Florida's spread would be even better if Tebow would make his throwing decisions a bit quicker. He keeps missing open guys by holding the ball. If that were McCoy or Bradford out there, they'd have even more points.
This is an incredibly hard hitting game! I love the SEC and am glad I've had the opportunity to spend the past few years at an SEC school getting to watch these games in person. I don't really care who wins this game. I think Alabama would be cool just because of the historical significance. I don't care for all of the man love that Tebow gets. The sick thing about this game is that Alabama will probably have more talented teams in the next few years. The question: Will they be able to run the table again, even with better talent? They could dominate the West over the next few years. Florida and Georgia look like their only real competition over the next few years. I can only imagine how ridiculous the 'Bama recruiting classes will be in the next few years. Auburn will be rebuilding. It is unclear whether Les Miles will be the man for the long run at LSU. Houston Nutt's inability to recruit will begin to show in a few years at Ole Miss. I'm an Arkansas homer, so I hope that Bobby P will be able to make magic happen with Ryan Mallett at the QB spot, but we'll see... Woo Pig Sooie!
Good lord, these announcers are all over Tebow's nuts. This soounds a lot like NBA League Pass level homerism. Crazy.
