    Nick Saban has 'Bama going the right direction. They might contend in the SEC next year. I don't care what anyone says, that beatdown of [overrated] Clemson was impressive. The Clemson players got tired of being hit and didn't want to be out there.

    Smh @ Virginia Tech, Glennon is horrible, Reshirting Tyrod looks like it wasn't a good idea.

    You think another coach would do better at Clemson than him? The expectations there are completely out of touch with reality, more than at most schools. Really, who gives a flip about Clemson besides people in South Carolina?

    Well, they did win a national title in the 80s and they're in a weak conference. I don't think it's too much to ask for him to have at least won the ACC once in his tenure.

    Well, thats more as a result of Clemson being overrated-and I'm being objective here too because I have nothing against them anyways. (The only team that that applies is OU)

    OK, that's a valid point but his overall tenure has been about what it should be for Clemson. And the national title they won almost 30 years ago by cheating shouldn't affect expectations for right now, but they do. I'm not saying Tommy Bowden is a great coach, but Clemson won't do much better than him. A really good coach would only use them as a temporary stepping stone to a higher profile job.

    IMO, that football program is destined for mediocrity. If/when they fired Bowden, I bet the replacement coach is worse and they go downhill.

    USC will destroy OSU

    And then on OCT 4th

    OREGON ranked #8 or so by then will come in to the Coliseum and shock #1 USC.
