Great return by Ok State. I did not see the holes that return guy found, just weasled his way out of the crowd.

what a bad way to end the half. not only do we give up the huge return, we then give up the TD and let them take 3 of the 4 minutes left to do it even though they only went 29 yards (why not call a timeout when they ran with 1:50 left at the 10?). and then we block in the back to negate a return to the 32 that could have easily set up a field goal drive. this game is basically tied b/c osu gets the ball first and i'm pretty sure they'll find their way to the endzone against either the special teams or the defense.

 

Why wouldn't Texas kick it deep against us?

 

I'm rooting for a Texas loss just to see the reaction of the OP and his pompous thread title..

 

Yep... needless to say I am pretty stressed out (and seeing Tech blow out KU doesn't help either). I'll take an ugly win! We'll probably get the "Texas is overrated" remarks from the SEC homers if we can't pull out with an easy win, but all we need is wins with our tough schedule. Now way the pollers/computers would lower our rank if we continue to beat top 10 teams, regardless of the score.

That UT "2nd in the nation and rushing defense"? You can throw that out the window. Mostly it was the schedule, and teams we played that didn't run much or already struggled with the run. Hunter is destroying us. Is UT running out of gas?

 

Well, OSU is 5th in the country in rushing. Something had to give, and unfortunately, it's UT rushing defense that's struggling.

Anytime Ok St makes a momentum play they screw it up. The fumble in the red zone, now a roughing the passer on an interception.

 

Texas gets a break on the roughing the passer play, but it was a good call....clearly a bone head play by the defensive player.
