He's the one that got triggered, he's upset about a black cop shooting an armed black man in his hometown of Milwaukee and as a result he's disrespecting the country that made him a 1%er......or at least that's what he wants people to think.

Seems like this will inspire cops to beat more black people.

Even if you are right that no one in this country ought to be irked or 'triggered' from their alleged false perception of police brutality, being 'triggered' by police brutality is far less trivial and petty than being irked or 'triggered' by patriotic symbolic gestures not being adhered to.

You know what I think I was wrong about Kaepernick

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/Darren32895836">@Darren32895836</a> The MSM cut this out from <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/ColinKaepernick?src=hash">#ColinKaepernick</a> interview <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/HillaryClinton?src=hash">#HillaryClinton</a> &quot;She should be in prison&quot; <a href="https://t.co/jjs1ptC2Vy">pic.twitter.com/jjs1ptC2Vy</a></p>&mdash; Winston (@Johndaveis) <a href="https://twitter.com/Johndaveis/status/770372432100257792">August 29, 2016</a></blockquote>

BREAKING! Even Breitbart can confirm that RL uses selectively edited video to perpetuate his preferred narrative. Typical.

    http://www.breitbart.com/sports/201...mp-openly-racist-hillary-prison-not-powerful/

“You have Hillary, who has called black teens or black kids ‘super predators,'” the San Francisco 49ers quarterback said on Sunday. “You have Donald Trump, who is openly racist. We have a presidential candidate who has deleted emails and done things illegally and is a presidential candidate. That doesn’t make sense to me. If that was any other person, you’d be in prison.”

The quarterback asked, “So what is this country really standing for?”

Lol. The Uber patriots are willing to soften their stance on Kaepernick's treason through their obsession with hyperbolic symbolism because he doesn't like Hillary.

I am always amazed that people think sitting or not saluting the flag is so disrespectful toward veterans. . .
    but
The sh!++y Treatment of Veterans by politicians and our government does not get near the scorn and attention is should.

Talk about better healthcare more economic support for veterans and people get mighty silent.
Politicians cut benefits or don't vote yes on bills to help veterans and these same people are silent again.

Talk about PTSD . . Talk about Wounded Warriors . . . Talk about not putting Vets and soldiers in harm's way . . . . and they have nary a fricking word to say . . . .
but let someone 'disrespect' the flag and they want to grab every Vet and parade their love for them then.

You got Trump spewing all kinds of racist **** and gets supported by 50% of the population with 75% of them being white.

You know why? Because standing, saluting, flag waving etc is the easy way to show that you are 'patriotic'.

It's the almost the same rationality as right wingers all up in arms against gay marriage but fighting against men spanking their dick which the Bible says is a sin just as much as homosexuality is just too much work right? The draconian social norms that don't affect me... Ya, let's just enforce those social norms. Don't enforce social norms that could affect poor ol' straight white male Christians.

Very accurate indeed. It's like the real actions mean nothing, but the symbolic actions are what's really important to them.

This. Unfortunately many of my fellow vet peers fall victim to the same rationality when it comes to critism of Obama.

They have no nuanced policy reasons why they hate him so much but god damn that Muslim terrorist saluting a Marine with a latte in his hand!!! What a disgrace to the office of the presidency:rolleyes:

Thanks to a tweet from Nick Wright, the following is a letter that Martin Luther King Jr. wrote from a jail cell in Birmingham, AL. Its a long letter (that King apologizes for in the letter) , but contains so many eloquent points, many which mean as much now as in 1963.

LOL at anybody who's rustled by this but indulges in all of the NFL's ham-fisted "salute to service" gestures every year. You're the real heroes.

The DOD pays for those salutes. Its like the republicans and their lapel pins. It all about the troops until they comeback and then its F the troops.
