Inequality is like climate change. It has always existed and will always exist, as long as humans and the Earth continue to exist. Neither one of these issues can ever be eliminated. It is not possible, and if you think about it, you may come to realize that it is not actually desirable either.

That's incredibly stupid, and it ignores available data....but coming from you, just par for the course really.

At some point, that's all anyone can do. When you realize that you are talking with complete r****ds and that there is no talking sense into them, all you can do is wait till someone more intelligent comes around.

They are blinded black individuals that hate white people.
Anytime blacks break the law, it's because cops are out to get them!!!

This perhaps perfectly encapsulates the conservative view...

Intelligent people rely on objective evidence and empirical studies. You rely on conjecture and presumptions. We support our assertions with real life data. Idiots like you ignore all of that.

It's so weird when they write things like "you ignore the data" when the data runs completely contrary to what they are saying!

It's like wtf is going on in his mind?

    http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/12/u...e-use-of-force-but-not-in-shootings.html?_r=0

I mean, the data (facts) clearly shows that blacks are treated worse than whites by cops in the same situations. That's pretty much the definition of bias. If you don't think it's evidence for bias, it is because you are biased.

Typically what you do when confronted with the data is to ignore it / run away or you will come back and say "see, they aren't as likely to be shot and that's all that matters"

So cops are more prone to use force with a demographic that is MUCH more likely to use force against cops? The same demographic that makes up only 14% of the population but commits over 52% of all murders in the country? Shocking, must be racism, only explanation. Let's march on Washington.

Once again you ignore results of a study. Do you need to go back to school? Or are you going to continue with stupid arguments?

Asininity will always exist, so we shouldn't bother with it.

He didn't ignore the results nothing about what he posted is contradicted by the piece of the article you posted.

I do like this quote from the article.

Where are the statistics on what the percentage of compliance is between races.

I assure you that my parents never had a conversation with me about whether or not I should be respectful of police because I was going to be respectful of all adults in all situations or I was getting my a$$ kicked royally when I got home. In fact if I had gotten my a$$ kicked by a cop I would have gotten my a$$ kicked again when I got home because my dad would have assumed that I deserved it and I probably did.

Here is another question, if statistics are the only way to determine what is right and wrong and who is racist or not why does this not apply to sexism. The number of men killed by police armed or unarmed based on percentage of the population is exponentially higher than the number of women killed by police.... are police sexist? I think the movement should be Mens Lives Matter.

The fact that you can't see or understand the truth in what he posted coupled with the fact that you find truth asinine, only highlights your own ignorance.

Bad things have always existed, so there's no point in trying to fix them. That's the gist of this, right?

Inequality is not an inherently bad thing. In fact, it is a profoundly necessary thing.

Have you ever stopped to think about what the world would be like if every human was equal in every possible way? Based on your comments, it does not appear that you have. This is what would be required for true equality to exist.

We would not be able to survive as a species if that were the case. It would literally be the end of us. Needless to say, this is not something we should want to aspire towards.

no one is saying that all humans ARE equal, people are saying that they should be TREATED AS equal. The fact that you have trouble understanding this indicates that you are not smart.

So, does that mean that everyone should be paid the same amount, regardless of the contribution that they make? It kind of sounds like it might.

I don't think you understood what you just posted. You are going off of the premise that some people are inherently better, in this case whites, meaning that whites should get privileges others shouldn't...because inequality should exist.
