They make really good songs, I don't believe they make good albums though.

Great...now that other person and I got in a fight because I inquired why the hell he's buying me a Coldplay ticket without my knowledge when he knows I hate Coldplay. This is a fight no Coldplay fan can win.

Isn't it common courtesy to ask someone about a concert date to make sure they don't have a problem with it schedule-wise or for whatever reason...versus just buying them a ticket and basically putting them in a position of "you have to go" cause I bought you a ticket?

You Coldplay fans have no f-in common courtesy or manners.

What do you want me to do...jump up and down yelling "I'm going to Coldplay! I'm going to Coldplay!" . Yea...Chris Martin can bite me. I don't want to watch him straddle a piano while he bounces up and down playing "Clocks". Forget it. Chicks may dig that *****...but this guy wants no part of it.

    :D

That's not a coldplay fan problem, that's a YOU problem. As in you YOU're the one who has a friend who would do something like that. I've never bought a ticket to a concert for somebody who wasn't interested in going. There's obviously something wrong about you that either seeks out friends like that or causes them to gravitate to you. I think there's a topical cream for it.

Actually, it's a sibling. Mom and Dad are to blame. I'll just kill the whole family.

    Thanks for the advice.

Same here. Most of my friends will tell you that I have very little taste in music and am a general sourpuss when it comes to music.

I still have yet to meet someone who actually dislikes coldplay. And the whole itunes commercial thing that they've been doing was a brilliant move. A good band that's very well marketed.
