    There are a lot of myths about Diet Sodas, most of the so-called "claims" that Diet Soda can lead to health problems have been disputed and/or debunked altogether.

    Drinking 3 cans of Coke a day is nearly 150 grams of sugar. There are roughly 450 grams in a pound. You are drinking nearly a 3rd of a pound of sugar just in your drink intake, when the recommended daily serving of sugar is 3 tablespoons.

    I thought there was no sugar in most sodas. I thought sodas were fortified with HFCS because it is cheaper and more abundant.

    perhaps I am offbase here, but I thought that argument was that diet cokes use a sugar substitute which tricks the body into processing it as it would regular sugar...while this in itself is better for you, the pitfall is that the body begins to have a negative reaction to real sugars ...
