It would have been 106 + 28 = 134 balls between 3 teams. This would be allocated as 45, 45 and 44 balls. So compared to 23 right now, we would have gotten 21 to 22 more balls.
But we don't need to win the whole thing. A top 3 pick would be huuuuuuge. And off the list in the other thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=2290363&postcount=58 There have been a couple of lower slots that got a top 3 pick. So it can happen.
Look on the bright side, by beating Denver we made it less likely that a team from behind us would pass us up...
Denver win cost us 22 balls Minny loss cost us 6 balls G.S loss cost us 5 balls Our loss to S.A saved us 9 balls Seattle win saved us 4 balls Of course, each if all other games did not change.
I'll take any good news I can get pertaining to the Rockets. The 1 player that has hurt the Rockets the most in this draft is Noah.
I like McRobert's (if the light ever goes on for that kid, watch out), but Williams has a much more NBA-ready game. Toughness, rebounding, and defense. Besides, I doubt McRoberts is coming out.
on espn's lotto machine it onmly took me 7 times to get us the #1 pick... i guess 2.3% aint too bad. what are our chances at landing the #2 and #3 picks?
I got first pick in the first time I tried... I went crazy.. I hope it goes the same way in the real draft .. but it says that we took Tyrus Thomas.. and I dont really like the dude..
I just got the #1 pick the first time I tried it on Clutch's generator. Then I hit refresh and the Rockets got the 2nd pick! Weird, but cool!
Lets hope and say your right! Rockets get the number #1 pick! Now who in the world do we pick lol! I have no idea who I would take.
I'd much rather have the #3 pick than the #1 pick. If you actually look at it, the #8 pick won't be all that bad.
