Stone should be afraid to trade if he didn't find a deal that makes us better without giving up too much. FFS, at this point, we're not really sure what we're going to get from some of our core youngsters. And if we trade away bench guys and draft assets to bring help in now, that reduces our chances of getting a big name this summer. Better to wait until the end of the year before swinging for the fences.
It’s good he’s cautious. Now is no time to mortgage the future for some perceived quick fix. That’s what got us in trouble in 2020.
