Listening to Rose and Pierce talk about Kawhi leaving the Spurs and BEADLE sitting right there and having to LISTEN to that......man, enjoyed that. Sit in it Beadle.

Totally agree. DJ discount for Houston would be $20 mil. D Jordan wants a big chunk of that LeBron
money the Rockets are trying to free up. Option if Capela gets an offer in the $25 mil range....but I wouldn’t
    recommend it.

I mentioned before the season that CP3 and Harden sent Carmelo to OKC to sabotage their efforts.
Melo doesn’t want to remain in OKC beyond this season....hard to leave if Thunder go to WCF’s/NBA finals.

Gets to join banana boat buddy in the form of CP3. Current team has shown Melo that MDA system can
    work if operated correctly.

I’m not saying I’m “all in” on this happening....just saying Codman mentions everyone wants to play
    with CP3/Harden/Ariza and MDA.

Best record in the league. Vegas favorites to land Lebron this summer. Backup plan for a big six. What a time to be a Rockets fan. I know we have a challenging playoffs ahead, but I'm pretty damn happy now.

I could see that, but I believe all 3 bigs want to be in Houston playing next to James and CP3.

Melo is still in contact (legally) with CP3 and Trev. Just look at their post games.

Here's your petty of the day: Melo doesn't like playing with Donovan, nor does he like playing with Russ will his poor shot selection. Melo's best friend on the team is Grant and Steve Adams. Why? They look for him.

He's been on record saying all he wants is to win. When CP3 signs, look for Melo to choose us as first or second choice.

Does not surprise me about Russ. Not the first time a teammate feels uncomfortable in his presence on the court.

Hope you are doing well Codman.

Don't want Melo... so much so that I think OKC will be a threat if he gets hurt.

Just getting away from Westbrick will make Melo look a lot better. At this point in his career he's a bench guy though.

I'm not sure that will be the case after the BS of this year. If he really does "just want to win" then he'd accept a bench role on a contender rather than being a starter on a scrub team like the Thunder.

That said, he's said he "just wants to win" in the past only to sign long term with the f'n Knicks....so it's kind of hard to take him seriously when he says that. IMO he'll take the player option and have another terrible year in OKC. There's no chance he gets that kind of money anywhere else.

I mean the bs in NY was a whole lot worse. so i wouldn't put my money on him changing at this point

the fact that he laughed at the thought of coming off the bench and being insulted just says enough about him

not as long as Wes keeps looking for Wes' shoot. Team is better when he gets others involved, but he is to selfish to do it.

Melo is better than he is now. Rockets offer a defined role at PF. The Joe Johnson element as a
post up threat at a slightly younger age. Key will be his (Melo) passing out of that set as kick-outs
to open 3-pt shooters. I’m sure it can work.

If Houston can have Josh Smith eliminate or improve his shot selections then the Rockets can improve
Melo’s shot selection. Post ups often end up in 8-10 footers....so I won’t say eliminate “all” his mid-range
    shots.

Tucker still under contract for next year. Tucker better defender than Melo, but Melo is the better
offensive player over Tucker. If a player is killing Melo’s defense....then just insert Tucker.

I don’t have a problem with it. OKC offense is just iso all the time without the forced switch. Not
    smart basketball.

You are joking right? Josh Smith was notorious for jacking up 16 footers to just shy of the 3
point line. Those long 2’s were frowned upon by the Rockets and he cut them out to very
few. Few as compared to his Atlanta and Pistons days.....oh yeah he reduced them tremendously.

Rockets system is much like Rudy T’s system.....if you are open at the 3, then shoot it. It’s promoted.
Open 3’s are better than covered 2’s. He helped get us past the Clippers when we were down 3-1.
I expected greater defense from Josh. He was good at help defense before coming to the Rockets; but
wasn’t good at fighting for position as Center like Chuck Wagon or Tucker does. It’s not all about
    blocking shots.
