It seems Treyarch is stepping their game up. Let's hope this rendition of Call of Duty is not as mediocre as their last few titles...
COD 3 and World at War were both significantly worse than Moder Warfare 2, particularly COD3 which is one of the worst games ever made imo.
I was pretty dissapointed with MW2, but i'm not gonna lie, I still play it. Black Ops looks sick though. WILL be buying first day..
Im not quite as much of a hater on MW2 as some people...I hate commando and One Man Army noob tubers...but Im pretty satisfied with everything else. I think Black Ops will be a much better game though.

Yeah, a big problem too is cheaters/hackers, but that is bound to happen in any game with suck a large community of players. Commando pro does not bother be very much since I mostly play hardcore. But noobtubes need to be scaled back and thumpers should be taken out completely. I also don't like semtex grenades, regular frags took at least a little siming and skill to use, semtexs just blow. Like I said earlier, the only thing about this game that is a drawback for me is that it is made by treyarch and they have produced nothing but crap in the COD series. The customization aspect seems to be a foocus and what they are going to try to sell this on. It has sparked my interest, I was not even considering the game before this.
it's not so much I think that treyarch sucked, it's just the time period they based their games around on. Prehistoric 1 shot reload guns are a POS, when you blasting rounds and rounds of lead using p90 in the previous game. Since this game isn't in WWII agin, I think it'll be good. I just wish they took out the n00bt00b or just make it so less friendly. It's ridiculous on hardcore, and just ruins the fun, imo

He said the game would be the same if played in 2-D or 3-D and that no content was created especially for the 3-D version, though it looks much more immersive. "When you're looking at the game in 3-D, the space you're looking at feels real," said Lamia. "When I've got a weapon, and I'm painting a red dot on an enemy target, I'm painting a red dot on an enemy target. When I'm aiming down the sights, I'm aiming down the sights. When someone's down the corridor, it feels like somebody's down that corridor — for real." The gaming medium is well suited to be displayed in 3-D because most modern games are already created in three virtual dimensions, unlike many films and TV shows that must either be filmed with special cameras or converted to 3-D. At this early stage, however, many gamers have yet to adopt the in-your-face technology because it requires a 3-D TV and glasses. Only a handful of games, such as Ubisoft's "Avatar: The Game" and Warner Bros.
