Haha, even better when they 1.) resort to grenade launchers or 2.) resort to calling us cheaters. Then I have to go and post a youtube video for the chill out. Yeah man, if I played solo most of the time, might not be too fun.
Well for starters they could of taken out tactical insertion or put in something to fix nuke boosting. I'm sure they could of done something with the killsteaks as well. If they were able to "patch" that 1887 shotgun, I'm sure they could of done a few other things.
Hey Rez, Where are you getting all the updates on Black Ops? I wouldn't mind reading up on it from time to time.
I play a lot of PS3. I have an Xbox but I haven't used it for MW2 yet. I used to play a lot of PC games back in the late 90's. I was the bomb at Quake 2. Cheating was way out of control though. Cheaters can ruin a game quickly. I'm glad you called out that guy though because too many players call out foul play when it comes to cheating.
Yeah, although you should be able to find people nuke boosting, they should have put something in that you simply can't kill the same player 25 times in a row. At the very least they have to go out and kill some other players sprinkled in there. Not that it is a fool proof fix, but at least would make it harder. The boosting player would have to at least have two or more players on the other team to pull it off.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to rezdawg again. Improvements are important for any game especially when it comes to franchise like COD. But making the wrong improvements will kill your fanbase. I'm telling you this now... COD is in trouble if they don't make the improvements. MW2 has seen a drop off in players playing...
I watch a lot of the Youtube guys such as Blametruth, SeaNanners, Muzzafuzza, WingsofRedemption, F1stacuffs, Tejb, Hutch, Woodysgamertag, Sam5000, jx23, etc... A lot of them have contracts to put out gaming videos and they have a lot more access to information as that is what they spend about 10 hours/day on these games. So, I just listen to their video commentaries and they bring up and discuss Black Ops. One thing is for sure, most of the big guys hate MW2 and cant wait for Black Ops...and considering the fact that they have hundreds of thousands of subscribers on Youtube, its safe to say that they have convinced very many people to look forward to Black Ops. You can also go to the Call of Duty Black Ops page and there is a community there with a decent message board. Seems like some of the developers roam there too...so you can get an idea of what may be to come.
Blametruth and SeaNanners are pretty cool. Hutch has some good stuff as well. Not a big fan of Tejb though... Blametruth is one of the best players I've seen that doesn't use a sniper weapon.
I am not going to buy a game every year if the "improvements" are menial. MW2 had a lot of new things in it to warrant a purchase, that being said I still play COd4 as well. THis game offers me very little new things, thus I will not purchase it. DO you buy fifa and nba 2k every year? I certainly do not, I buy Fifa every 2 years and NBA 2k every 3, there is no reason to buy more frequently.
I havent bought NBA 2k the last couple years because Ive been bogged down with other games...but I definitely have bought Madden every year for the last 20 years. Specially with sports games, its imperative that I play with updated rosters...I need the rookies, the free agents, updated ratings, etc...
Thanks Rez +1. I'm going to check this out. I play MW2 solo, and I am getting tired of all the exploits. Depending on what I hear over time will determine if i jump on this game or not. Sounds pretty good so far though....
Heck, I think COD is in trouble since IW left Activision. I guess some would say good, IW sucks for what they pulled for MW2, haha.
This is why Black Ops multiplayer is going to be solid...one of the developers of the multiplayer portion of the game has gone out to forums and asked for advice.
