lets see, do you sign a coach who is one of 5 NBA coaches to win a title in the past decade, or do you sign a guy with no prior NBA experience, where all others who have come before him have failed?

Exactly, ESPN reported earlier that Kobe says the only way he goes back to LA is if Mike K is there.

I have much respect for Coach K. I think he embodies the good qualities of collegiate sport. To see him with the Fakers (or, for that matter, any NBA team) would be sad.

On the other hand, seeing Rudy T. in Faker purple/gold would make me wanna kill myself.

It depends on whether coach K can adjust to the pro game. Pitino failed becaused he wanted to play an all-court pressing game. It does not work well in the pro level. I guess on the pro-level, you can play some run and gun, but half-court offense/defense is crucial to be successful in the long-run.
