Look at what Kubiak and Phillips have done in Denver this season. They are undefeated and Manning is statistically one of the worse QB's in the league right now. Seems like it's a front office problem and there needs to be a major shakeup of some sort.

Sounds like Bill OBrien is driving the bus right now!

    Awaiting Ricks response.

New hot take is "BOB needs to go back to college"

Trying to deflect attention away from how wrong BTG was about Mallet.

Yeah, its funny how the MOFs are loving this as a way to save face.

BOB screwed up Mallet! Mallet could be a pro bowler for the Jets!

Either way I've been in the fire BOB, Mallet and Smith train for a while

i don't buy that one either because kubiak and phillips were given pseudo gms position as well when they were here. We're still suffering from schaub's arm falling off. And nothing is going to change that til we find that type of production again. And Romeo is off his wheels, since the departure of bill kollar to denver, he is having the line do completely different things than just a season ago.

underrated departure and hire, kollar. the entire broncos line credit their success to him.

Rick Smith overruled Kubiak and extended post lis-franc Schaub.

That was still a solid team except for broken Schaub.

Went 9-7 with incompetent BOB at the helm last year.

Almost every good player on this team was from Kubism drafts/signings- Watt, DeAndre, Brooks, Brown, Foster

You are obsessing about this, but you should realize that everything I've said about Mallett has been accurate.....just like it's accurate that BOB needs to go back to college. You'll catch up eventually.

You're right, Mallet has tons of upside and is better than Bridgewater, Hoyer and Derek Carr. And he's great under pressure despite going 0-16. And his arm strength plus quick release was never known before this year.

    Completely correct on all counts

This is a big reflection on Bob McNair and just how incompetent he is when it comes to making personnel decisions in regards to his front office. It's not a complicated decision, and yet here we are.

Said comfortably from his living room couch with no money at stake with the Texans.

Doubtful. If you've seen him lately I have a feeling he'll be making quicker moves with coaching and management now. He doesn't look like he he'll be around all that much longer and I bet he wants to see a winner before he goes out.

And I'm the one who's "obsessing"???

Keep working on trying to save face. You backed (and are still backing) the wrong QB.

Your assessment couldn't have been further off... To the point that you are totally clueless when it comes to forming opinions on this team.

The fact you will never admit how wrong you were just pretty much seals your own grave.

Uh, no it hasn't. You've been way off on assessing his play. Way off, and its not even close. You've gone to great lengths to blame the coaches, OLine, receivers, and lack of running game to excuse everything Mallett has done on the field.

He's done ZERO positive for this team outside of maybe 1-2 drives. Literally, any QB in the NFL would have been able to do at LEAST that much.

Bill O'Brien: 'Rick Smith and I have respect for each other. It's a partnership.'

"Rick Smith and I both have respect for each other ... Decisions are made by the two of us. Require concurrence of the owner," O'Brien says.

Bill O’Brien addressing the report of front office discord. “When it comes to personnel & coaching and player, it’s a partnership.”

Bill O'Brien: 'The majority of the time we agree.'

Bill O'Brien says he did not have a confrontation with Rick Smith about when to cut Ryan Mallett. #Texans

Bill O'Brien: 'One rule we do have is to be on time.'

Bill O'Brien: 'If it's something that happens time and time again, the message isn't getting through.'

BOB: Has a "veterans committee." Says they meet every week. One thing we have a very strong belief in is practicing hard. That won't change.

BOB: Bob McNair has the final say on everything. That's why we call him the owner.

Bill O'Brien said his contract says he operates in concurrence with the general manager, Rick Smith

"Mine says that it’s a partnership and any decisions that are made are with the concurrence of the GM," O'Brien on his contract. #Texans

BOB: You'll have to ask Rick about his contract. My contract says this is a partnership. But he's in charge of who plays, period.

O'Brien on decisions "it is a partnership with us . I am in charge of who plays on GameDay." #Texans

Bad tweet by Dale Robertson but I think it's what the one below it says: Bill is in charge of who plays on gameday.
