With a loss streak growing I simply must ask who is holding the other back? AKA who is worse and to blame most.

    it starts from the leader/coach/mchale
it is also possible, he has lost his players and they wont play hard for him, which goes back to the number 1 reason

Schedule is the worst excuse I've ever heard... especially for a young team. Should have won some of these.

Both Mcfail and Sampson should go.

    did you notice that sampson
    1)actually plays rookies meaningful minutes
2)takes out players who are under-performing or not playing good
3)does not care who you are or how much you are making when on #2

he wants to prove he can win so he can get a head coaching position i bet. mchale is just following orders.

I'd blame the inexperience of both players and coaching.
Also, our guys look way too reserved. (Unmotivated, low confidence, or worn out?) Maybe bring in someone with an attitude

I'd blame sampson since he is our defensive coach, and Rox's defense was not there. Getting worse even when he has in full power when mchale was out. So, he is not doing his job, period.

Consider the coaching decisions that are being made in regards to Patrick Patterson. The change in his shooting from last year to this year is drastic. Although his ef% is higher for each shot type he is taking the end result is not more points. There are so many less 2 point shots attempted and made and obviously he is required to take 3 points shots instead. The overall point difference from last year to this year is unbelievable. The various 2 point shots have decreased from last year to the tune of 127 points LESS!!! How is this smart? Forcing him to essentially give up his 2 point game in favor of a previously nonexistent 3 point shooting game.
These numbers are from Hoopedata http://www.hoopdata.com/player.aspx?name=Patrick+Patterson :
    shots made ( points)
    At the rim
    2012: 62 (124)
    2013: 58(116) diff 8 points less
    3-9 feet
    2012: 50 (100)
    2013: 18(36) diff 64 points less
    10-15 feet
    2012: 36 (72)
    2013: 17(34) diff 38 points less
    16-23 feet
    2012: 77 (154)
    2013: 34(68) diff 8 points less
    3’s
    2012: 0 (0)
    2013: 23(69) diff 69 points more

specifically on the 3's in 2011, 20122 he only attempted 5 total shots.

SO somehow it is logical to give up 127 points on 2 point shots to gain 69 points on 3's???

Please someone help me understand how this.

You are comparing the total number of points scored over 64 games last year to 30 games this year. Of course his total number of points is going to be less after playing only half the amount of games! I can't believe I'm even trying to talk some sense into you...

I would say this team has overachieved so far even at .500 so it's hard for me to put more blame on the coaching.

because we didn't have hardeb last year, and we didn't have to space the floor for our guards.

    whats wrong with that?
Do you want a coach who has no aspirations in life
The goal of every assistant is to run their own team some day.
The team played better when Sampson was the interim coach

if harden did more than drive to the basket we wouldn't have to space the floor all game. we are relying too much on Iso offense
