Honestly, I've been waiting for a thread relevant to Lopez just so I can state how irritating this guy is. Lopez has a terrible voice and I find his laugh (he laughs all the time) so freaking annoying. He isn't that knowledgeable on sports either. 610 needs to can Lopez and Rich Lord. It just seems like they really don't watch a lot of sports. Another new person I can't stand is the guy on Sunday nights. The older sounding one. Dude thinks he knows it all but is basically talking out of his arse.
John Lopez is one of the biggest douches on the radio. i quit listening to the morning show after hearing this douche-bag spew his ****. Moved on to 1560 the game, good riddance.
That actually sounded like a cerebral, honest and pretty civil exchange to me. Lopez gave a defense that just about any blogger or commentator would stand by, and Sumlin has some very reasonable concerns of a coach trying to maximize a genuinely fleeting recruiting opportunity at an historically weak program. If Keenum chooses a seven-figure payday over Noodles Stroganoff at Oberholtzer and Street Fighter Alpha 3 at the UC, game over.
