It's amazing that coach McHale still didn't have the foul number break-downs after one day that's become a hot media topic. Rockets analytics team can do better than that, better than common Rockets fans.
Lets face it, we are an analytics team. Morey is king - GM, scout, and coach. Mchale is the babysitter. Bickerstaff is the offensive coordinator and tr dunn is our defensive coach these guys are the left and right of morey. They will never question him. Mchale is the dog and pony show. No point in b****ing constantly about it.
If it worked for Arnold, why not the Rockets? I don't see a problem with this. The chances of him understanding it are pretty low, so no loss there.
Who cares? Do you think he could replicate the foul attempts we shot? The coaches job is to decide on a scheme and get players to follow that scheme. Obviously he couldn't get the players to follow the defensive scheme in the first half.
Maybe he has other stuff to do, like fly to LA, prepare for game 3, stuff like that, which "common Rockets fans" do not. Why would he care anyway? He's not calling the fouls. And the fouls are in his favor. So you want McHale to follow the "hot media" huh? I don't.
