I thought you were one of the people who asserted that Morey traded away some of Adelman's "pets" to force him to play the worthy players. We were doing fantastic after Budinger became the starter. Now you are saying that Adelman shouldn't have started Budinger? What a short memory.
Lee has already been the starter for a team that went to the finals. As a rookie. Being a starter in this league doesn't mean you have to be perfect, or a star. Delonte West is currently a starter. Ronnie Brewer is a starter. Aaron Afflalo is a starter. Anthony Parker, Gerald Henderson, Carlos Delfino, Raja Bell, Landry Fields, Luke Ridnour. I mean Deshawn Stevenson was the starting 2 guard that just won the championship. Half the league would LOVE to have Courtney Lee start for them. I more or less agree with you on Dragic. Patterson will be the future starting PF of the Rockets, so yes it is a luxury to have him coming off the bench right now.
No, I am not saying that. I am saying that Budinger only started playing like he gives a damn after being handed the starting spot. He was terrible before that. McHale idiotically defied him and actually tries to make him earn it. Now we get the Budinger that just sits there and sulks. Battier was never the problem. And I guarantee you Morey didn't trade him away just so that Bud can start. That was more financial reasons and looking at the team's future. Trading away Brooks on the other hand was a HUGE(the biggest) reason why the team took off.
There is supposedly no way he can possibly ever play the center spot according to euro expert OHMSS which makes me pretty damn optimistic that he can eventually develop into a mobile 5 in our current center deprived league. For instance, Patrick Patterson is our current backup center(in addition to backup 4).
No he's not, Hill is still in the rotation. So you are positive he's going to play center yet you think he beats out Patterson at PF ?
I like the fact that McHale likes short rotations, as do I. Another good example of this is Portland, who only really play Felton, Matthews, Wallace, Aldridge, Camby, Thomas, Crawford, and Batum.
Williams deserves a spot in this league. Maybe not here, but certainly somewhere. Earlier this year he was giving us solid minutes. Playing hard on D and showing both improved shooting and some talent off the dribble. He's sitting because others (See: Parsons, Chandler) are playing much better TEAM ball. And he'll keep sitting until he quits playing for himself, and starts playing for the team. Flynn, on the other hand, is total ****. Don't care what McHale has to say about him.
He's still getting a shot so my guess is he is still working hard in practice and McHale cannot count on Patterson to guard centers, although he might go that route soon.
