The latest statement, right out of his lawyers mouth, was that he was yelling three days earlier, "25$ for anyone who takes out the umpire."

Ironically, I think the defense is going to use that evidence in their favor. jest.

You wonder what is going on in the Chicago T-ball system. They probably have even more dirty laundry to air than this league.

So true. This incident almost turned me away as well. I cant stand to see kids this age get their feelings hurt by uncaring win-at-all costs adults. We invited the kids to our banquet and 1 showed up and thanked us. It made me realize that if I quit then some kids lost a coach who cared. It sounds like you have the right priorities.

When I was eight I liked to win and I doubt (if its true) stuff like this happens all the time. Yeah, there are over zealous parents who come to games and embarrass themselves and their kids, but let's not act like stuff like this happens all the time.

some of my little league memories....

Some big kid was trying to steal third base, and that's where I was, third baseman... the catcher threw down to third and I tagged the kid right across the face. He was called out. I probably could have broken his jaw with the tag. I slapped it across his jaw pretty hard. The kid proceeded to get up and point his finger in my face and was trying to coax me into a fight. He was like I'm gonna kill you- you mutha ****er. I was a wimp tho'. I said nothing like a wuss. The parents got really excited on both sides tho'. My mom told the other parents to sit down and shut up. Ironically I was in the same classroom with that kid a year later. He held onto a grudge. Good times.

In Soccer the other parents pulled their team off the field because we had some over age kids on our team. I am not going to kid you, we did. But we were damn good. Undefeated. I remember signing up and asking the guy, 'are sure I'm not too old.' He said, 'no problem.' Anyway, the league was getting ready to play the next game after the dispute so my team got a little rambunctious and decided to take the nets down off both goals. That way nobody could play today. We did it. And that's when the parents, cops, and all kinds of stuff happened. All I remember is a big dust cloud. Good times.

That's about it. 99% of the time it was all good. But we had some rough spots. I can't ever remember a basketball incident that got out of control, but let me think about that some more, oh, wait a minute, that happened in college. All I'm gonna say is 13 technical free throws in a row, some spit, and a ref got hit in the face hard with the ball. My team was the good team this time. No parents involved though.
