I am fully aware of Kelly's weekly player power ranking column on CNNSI. Last week it was me who start a thread on it. Sorry to bust your stereotype, but I am not very thrilled with Yao's performance in the last two games and I think Kelly's ranking of Yao is a little too generous this time.

Nothing wrong with A_3PO's first couple of statements. But his habitual use of Yao "zealots" is plain annoying. He is the guy who constantly whines about "name calling" when in fact it's merely referring to YOH and stuff. On top of his hypocrisy and double standard, he also has the tendency of jumping on Yao fans with his selective reading (I can easily dig up those of posts of his to show the viewers here). When it was pointed to him that the accusation wasn't warranted, he would simply run away and not be man enough to admit his mistake.

Obviously, Yao need to be more confident and aggresive, then he will be the dominant player.

I like the #2 ranking and I think the top 2 (lebron and yao) might even be right but the rest of the list is crap. No Kobe and No DWade  .

Wade's on the list. It's a top-20 list. Give it another try.

Do you think Kobe's performances, over the first seven games, have been among the NBA's top 20?
