JdJO talks to the players, but management hates him, back from his run-in with Tal Smith. Lopez is useless, doesn't even try to get info, just opinion. And apparently, nobody will talk to Justice ("Just go make something up" -- Ausmus). McTaggart does a decent job of straight reporting. That's all you get from the chron.

McClain is much more interested in creating his Hollywood Johnny radio/internet persona these days than doing any actual reporting. How the Chron lets this guy do baseball videos & such is just beyond me.
