So, you've moved your argument to it was because of the actual baseball itself instead of him not signing the autograph. It must be nice to be able to change your argument midway through.

You know you're a loser when you're this upset about something, when the only person who had a right to get upset was happy. That, and you didn't know Bonds wasn't a Texan, Astro or Comet.

 

This Bonds hating is so comical. I mean why do you guys bash him so much? You don't pay his salary, you're not fan of his or the team he plays for, and you really don't know the guy. It is senseless to waste energy on hating somebody, get on with your life and leave his alone.

 

It's part of being a sports fan. You can honestly tell me that there aren't any players or teams that you don't like?

 

I know why there is all this bashing, he is chasing the most powerful record in baseball and in the past 10 - 15 years he bulked so much it looks like he did it with steroids. And he is an ASS to the media.

This is true but people are taking it to another level with Bonds. I mean, I am a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan and when they play the Cowboys I will root against Owens and the Boys, afterwards I don't care. I actually hope he has learned his lesson and will straighten up. I don't just go around with this hatred of Owens, I have better things to do with my time.

 

I did in 92 when he was still a Pirate, he was really cool and talked to me before a Stros game for about 5 minutes.

 

Of course, I imagine you don't know tinman, he doesn't give a s**t about what you think, you're not a fan of his and don't pay his salary, yet you feel the need to comment on him and what he says. Why is that different?

Isn't EVERYTHING on this message board ultimately a waste of time - isn't that kind of the point of a message board? I always find it amusing that someone reads a thread only to complain that people shouldn't post in it. Why not just not read it? Seems like it would be much easier and both sides would be happy.

Because he's initiating a conversation (which is what a message board basically is-one huge conversation) with us. If he didn't care what anyone else said, why would he post?
