I can tell you love America, please get on google and research communitarianism (edit) and anti-communitarianism

there are no longer any libs and conservatives, only globalists.

Could you explain to me what we are fighting for at this point?

Says the man that says he keeps an open mind and likes to see both sides of the debate.

Could you elaborate on your second statement? I am infering that you believe the United States of America will die if we do not succeed with the War in Iraq.

Perhaps stories that help the American public sympathize and understand the sacrifices and hardships of the soldiers is exactly what builds the support.

No, I understand that the troops are fighting for their lives.
I support their bravery and allegiance to our nation.

But no one is fighting to protect you or I.

The fundementalist terrorists would destroy America I understand that.
The insurgents are fighting a civil war.

We are not fighting for America's survival in Iraq.

We are fighting for oil, gas, drugs, globalism and money.

It has nothing to do with the national security of America, but it will affect our future economic security.

I appreciate very much your love for America, I share it, which is why I am so disappointed in the globalist war our soldiers are over there giving their lives and blood to; the political and economic agenda of globalists, industrialists, and internationalist elites.

I would be broken hearted for one of my own sons to give his life to make someone rich or powerful who cares nothing for this country.

Iraq is no threat to America, neither is Iran. Our own government is a far greater threat.

The globalist communitarians in our government are the enemies of this great nation and they will destroy it. They are all more aligned with Fabian Socialism and Globalism than the US Constitution.

We are in the last throes of a trojan horse collapse.

I personally think it is a little late for America. But being the pessimist I am, I will continue to spout off opinions on the board here to blow off steam. :)

One difference is that the college athletes are still alive so that they could benefit from that money. Your statement was that paying families supports terrorists. It supports families of them, and not the dead terrorists themselves.

    hey fool -

the majority of the troops want to end the iraq war, dissapprove of the way bush is handling it and say it was a mistake to invade in the first place. furthermore, only 50% of the troops believe that success in iraq is likely. i dare you to say that 50% of the troops hate america and want themselves to fail.

you are the one advocating a policy which most of the troops are against.

In general, I am referring to the fight against the tactics of terrorists against us...(with the threat of those tactics being used against us)

like iran, iraq never attacked or was a threat to the united states.

and thanks for depressing me rhster! it does seem more and more that it is indeed too late for this country - the globalists and their puppet bush have done a pretty good job destroying america and setting up the next president for the final death blow.

    all heil hillary!

Ask America "Do you want to win in Iraq" and tell me what they come back with. Any pollster will tell you that poll results depend squarely on the question asked. So all the libs need to quit referencing poll results (as if that's any way to fight a war in the first place...) b/c they are irrelevant.

Wow ROXRAN, Trader_Jorge, and StupidMoniker really need to get a room. :p

Firstly, you can support the troops for their safety yet not support the cause for which they are fighting. Nobody wants the troops to be hurt, the difference is most people want them home, not in Iraq fighting a war, see the difference.

Secondly, it's the issue of being in a country that has nothing to do with the "war against terrorism".... who was the enemy when we first went in there? WMD? Yes, but we found out it was all made up lies, hence there being no reason for the war.

There is no enemy, it's all lies, in the end you are supporting a false cause and actually putting troops in danger, so you should be the ones to be considered the ones who don't support the troops, see your own logic :D

what a foolish premise - i would venture to say that if you asked anyone if they want to win vs. loose the vast majority will pick win. who wants to loose, no matter what it is?

polls have a liberal bias. why do you have such little regard for our troops and their opinions?

and i always find it hilarious that a bush supporter like yourself would go around calling others "libs". you do realize that when you get beyond all the b.s. rhetoric and look at the facts your precious male hooker-loving president is the biggest liberal to ever serve as president of this country, right?

Iraq if allowed the nuclear reactor to continue would be a definite threat. thankfully the good people of the world dealt with that and furthermore
I believe Iran is a definite contributer of the threat for the following reasons:

Iran A.) willfully supports by training and other avenues, and possibly engages U.S. military personnel to undermine our operations in Iraq

Iran B.) supports the culture, the mindset of suicide bombing...it contributes to the threats of terror against us...

Iran C.) supports terroristic groups by shelter and monetary support considering the region, it influences the legitimacy of the group considering the religious common ground to neigboring states...
