Well since you feel you aren't a racist, please explain what was wrong with his quote. He pointed out that Trump is raising fears about a caravan of people seeking to obey the law and seek asylum at a point of entry to the United States as the law requires. Meanwhile, Right-wing whites who have been committing a large majority of the terrorist activity in the United States recently have been ignored by Trump. He didn't point out that Trump has actually taken funds and focus away from investigating those groups.

I honestly have no idea why anyone of any race would be offended by that. That sounds like a good plan to help protect the U.S. from terrorist activity.

You have a chance to explain your issue with something that you feel is racism. I'm asking why any race should be offended by what Lemon said.

Nothing Lemon said seemed racist to me. Why would anyone of any race be offended by what Lemon said? I've asked several times and nobody has answered. I've been called a racist and told to GTFO.

So you can in no way articulate how Don Lemon said anything offensive in that clip. Then it appears you are a snowflake who's also trying to play the race card without any basis.

The sad thing is that this is making me feel gross because I'm having to defend Don Lemon who is not one of my favorite people. I'm also not a fan of Cuomo. Yet neither you nor the person who posted the clip or anyone else has told me what was offensive.

I believe that I do see what he is saying at face value. I don't understand why anyone of any race would be offended by it. If you can't explain why you or someone else is offended, then why should I take the claim seriously?

It looks like people are upset because Lemon who is black mentioned white people on the right-wing. He was referencing the fact that most terrorist attacks in the U.S. have been coming from white right-wing organizations and that instead of taking funds from fighting that which Trump has done, and sending 15,000 troops to the border because of thousands of people heading our way who are intending to follow the laws and seek asylum at a point of entry, which Trump is doing, why not focus on where the problem is? Trump talked about a Muslim ban to the U.S. but that isn't who is doing most of the terrorism in the U.S. Lemon correctly mentioned that it is white right-wingers who are doing that. So why divert funds from law enforcement that was working to stop that?

That isn't anything racist. He isn't saying whites are all bad, or they are evil, or anything close to that. So I've watched several times, and I'm still trying to figure out what was offensive in what he said. Yet, nobody is able to tell me why they are all offended.

I don’t know what a Don Lemon is because I have a job and can’t watch news all day, but nothing that guy said was racist. He just pointed out that we’ve had a ton of domestic terrorism committed by white right wing men, yet the president never talks about that.

 

It depends on how Hannity approached it. If he said that he wanted to work provide more money and resources to job training, education, and ending discrimination in the criminal justice system to help the problems in at-risk communities then that wouldn't be a problem. If was complaining about money being diverted from helping the problems in at-risk communities that wouldn't be a problem.

You do understand Lemon wasn't proposing a ban on whites, right? He was pointing out the misdirection in where funds and attention is being spent.
