    This is just FALSE.

The whole basis of the offense has Mcgrady popping off screens. Thats why the trade was made. Name one time you saw Jim Jackson whip a pass to Mcgrady running off a screen? You can't. It never happen. Mcgrady had to be the initiator to a frozen jackson at the arc. Now Mcgrady can run around and pop off screens more with two other ballhandlers in the game i.e. Wesley and Barry or Sura and Wesley or Sura and Barry.Bob Sura had12 assists last night, alot of them handed out to Mcgrady popping off screens. The offense with Sura, Wesley, and Barry has changed completey...for the better.

So you are saying Bron wouldnt have made any impact in a 3 point game down the end and wouldnt have helped them cut those turnovers. The kid averages 25pts 7boards 7 assits for chris's sake. We lucked out. That wasnt the winning style basketball. Let's talk agian after January.

We need changes for PG and PF? Does the addition of Wesely, a SG, help our need. Worse we got rid of two shooters on the team, and one was playing heavy minutes. Just doesnt make sense. We should have signed D.Fish.

I'm saying the Rox were up 10 with Lebron in there for a half so you can't discredit the Rox win by saying we beat the hapless, Lebron-less Cavs. The Cavs did better without Lebron than with him to get back to within 3. With Lebron they may have done better, but we proved we could beat them even if he was in the game.

You said that I was wrong and the Rox were only up 3 when Lebron left the game and that is completely incorrect. I'm done talking to you because you care about none of the facts and make stuff up just so it suits your opinion. When you come back to the real world let me know.

two shooters on the team, one playing heavy minutes...the other?

a skinny kid who cant play d and fouls alot

those heavy minutes now can be divided for other players, which might change things up for the houston rockets

The first trade was good but i agree with them about the 2nd. It made no sense. Wesley better bring a whole lot to this team cause I am sure I am not the only one who is pissed. TRADE CD!!!

It almost seems like a trade for the sake of a trade, but I don't want to be too judgemental this early (perhaps I am...)

yes...there really is a member here named Kelly Dwyer....he is the one that writes for CNN/SI....and while his article is alittle hyperbolic...he isnt that bad of a writer...must have been a bad night when he wrote this one...

shame on you Kelly for writing after a nasty loss...remember...calm down...then write...;)

now.......for YallMEan.......I dont know why I bother with you since I know you wont accept being wrong....

    but

check the stats on your boi BronBron...he ws 0-5 before leaving the game....the only points he scored were from the line...

the Rockets D held little King James to ZERO points from the field.....what you are tryin to say is that he would have gone on a tear inthe second half?

I say BS....we held him in the first half...we would have in the second....he should feel glad that he was out for the game...it wouldnt have looked very good to the masses to have the lowly horrible Rockets hold him to way under his season averages....

get over it...with Bronbron...without Bronbron...we were winning that game...Tmac would not allow us to lose...everytime we started losing the lead...he would start taking over...

the win was ours...one way or the other...

didnt watch the game last night did ya?

Illtell ya what Wesley brings us....hustle, intesity, kickass defense, and Ill guarantee you that he WILL shoot better than JJ had...and it will be better than he has shown in NO...there(this season), he was keyed upon by the opponents defense...here...he will get wideopen looks...and he will hit a fair percentage of them....you can book that.

    What have I done wrong?

Ok, basically a close game down the strech. Without Bron we beat the Cav. Good. With Bron, we might've still beat them based on his first half performance, but we might've got killed based on his season performance. So I say we were lucky to get a W facing Bron-less Cavs.
Now if we can shut down Dead Redd and Mason tomorrow night, I will come here admit I am wrong. ;)
Boy I wish I could be wrong.

Are you sure you are talking about Wesley? I thought we acquired Artest until I saw Wesley's name in your article.

And yes, I gonna bookmark this one, and see how it turns out after maybe 10 games. Sorry, I am also one of those who think this trade made no sense and was a desperate move at best.

Written like a guy who watched them for one game.

It is really tough to lump this one on McGrady. NO ONE on this team outside of he and Yao can score with any consistency. If he doesn't fire up shots at this pace, we struggle to score 80 every night.

And his defense has been much better than I expected, nevermind his passing, which has been excellent. I have yet to see a time (other than when he took over the SA game) that he seemed unwilling to give the ball up to a teammate when the defense double teamed him.

I am as critical of this team as anyone, but at least criticize the right stuff.
