You see, it makes people feel comforted that they can say, "we're better than the Indians - look at them, haha - how backwards they are" even though the reaction is by just a tiny minority - the most extremely conservative group. Still, it's much easier to label the entire country as reacting and protesting because it's more sensationalized and playing into people's existing stereotypes and ego-issues.
Did somebody say "Indian tiny minority"? <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/gx-NLPH8JeM"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/gx-NLPH8JeM" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
stupid. way to go overboard. i think this shows how inefficient the Indian court system is more than anything. there are a lot of these cases the block up the justice system in the subcontinent. but there is a lot of repressed sexual tension in india.. especially with the teens.
Didn't seem that way to me, she was laughing the whole time and it seems the crowd was cheering the whole time. Plus, it was much tamer than Adrien Brody planting one on Halle Berry when he won his Oscar. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/kdnaHHns3c0"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/kdnaHHns3c0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object> Over-exaggerate much? If you don't want to engage in any PDA overhere, it's perfectly fine with me. If people in India want to criticize our customs, that's ok with me as well.
