i could only bear 5 seconds of this podcast.. i wanted to rip my ears off. please do not post this trash again.
is that supposed to help? "what does cnm mean? " "its like cbl " " " anyway nice to see another thread about lin not getting enough playing time. he either gets too much or not enough, no happy grey area
About the only thing that I absolutely do not like about McHale is his sarcastic altitude toward reporter. They are just doing their job. I think he should be a bit more considerate of them. This was from last season. Haven't seen it this year.
Yes, but if one harbors affinity with a certain player on the team and dare to speak of it, one is automatically assumed to be a certain such and such. Indeed, insolence and bad timing. A nice way to put it. This might do: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=241405&page=3
Horrible, Horrible example. Kubiak's loyalty to Matt Schaub will ultimately cost him his job. I can't wait till Lin is gone so all these psuedo rockets fans leave. It's a shame because I enjoy watching Lin ball out when he's playing well.
There should be a public poll where people can vote on whether they truly believe McHale hates Lin. Anyone who thinks he does can then be summarily banned. And the forum peace will be restored.
You better hope he sucks elsewhere too or they'll be here all the time sticking it to Morey and Mchale.
I did not listen to the video. Too long. So no comment on that. PhiSlamma has always been a classy poster here. I don't agree with him on everything. But he's not a troll. And he definitely is not a LOF. Folks, not everyone who likes Lin and thinks there's some racism surrounding him is a LOF or is some ignorant idiot. NOT EVERYONE WHO AGREES WITH LOF'S IS A LOF.
OMGAWRD. It was like Plinkett was doing a Rockets' preseason review. I wouldn't let a guy with that voice within 100ft of any children.
Oh yeah, when you wanto make yourself an endearing figure to the mods, just call them hypocritical. Nice job there hoss. Now, pay attention...I will explain why you couldnt be more wrong if you tried. This thread is about a subject that is being talked about in no less than 6 different threads that are currently on the first two pages of the forum. Jeff's thread that you call us "hypocritical" for leaving open is about a TOTALLY DIFFERENT SUBJECT, and on top of that is from a local publication that Jeff writes for. He was a moderator here LONG before he started writing for Houston Press. Why should we not allow his stories to be posted? BY that logic, we should not allow people to post stories from Kelly Dwyer of Yahoo sports, do you know why I say this? Because Kelly is ALSO a long time member here and was a member here long before he got the national gig. This thread was NOT initially closed because of the person in the video, it is because it related to the same subject already being talked about in MULTIPLE threads. I dont consider Paul a professional NBA writer/commentator like Jeff and Kelly are so he doesnt get the same consideration when it comes to his opinion being posted by others as a legit source of NBA information. Now, for the inevitable question as to why this is reopened, Clutch explained to me that he felt the subject is a little different than the normal Lin vs Bev ARGGHHH!@!! threads so he wanted to allow it to progress. I understand his thinking and as always bow to his greater wisdom.
Paul, the person in the video, is a very classy person. I seriously hate it when people are disrespecting him without even hearing what he has to say. And people saying that he is doing it only for the clicks/views is just ridiculous. If he wanted more views he would make it more exciting and be more controversial. He is a fan of Jeremy Lin, but he is very, VERY fair about Lin's game. If Lin played bad, he will say he played bad and not say something otherwise. Some of you guys are bashing him just because he has a different view on things. It's not even that actually, because some of you didn't even try to listen what he said. You guys see some comments about him saying something bad about the organization and immediately start to ridicule him. Paul has always stayed classy in his videos. He has never disrespected a person in his video. Even when people was saying that McHale is a racist or whatever, he defended him and explained things in a very logical way. He respects the team and the organization. Even now he has a video explaining that Bev starting is very logical. He doesn't like it but he understands. Why can't more guys be a little more classy or at least respectful towards Paul. Well here is my opinion to some of you guys. I'm sorry if I'm also jumping to some stupid conclusions. But all I want is that some be more respectful towards Paul.
