game is over Williams takes game over down stretch. The Raptors have no offense. They played like garbage in the 4th
Raptors has got to be the softest team in the nba. Their defense sucks and all they know is just outside shooting.
The jazz want to win. The raptors have given up the season. For them,, the most important things are good stats and no injury. The won't play very physical in order to avoid injury.
We all knew the Barneys would lose. It was only hope that sustained us. Pacers are next. The Pacers are better off losing and going for a higher draft pick, so the Jazz will win again.
Deron Williams is so clutch you know in the 4th qtr he is going to make the right decisions all the time as well as be automatic from mid-range. He has everything, he can drive, finish, and that sets up his automatic jumper. Oh yeah, he is also a great passer.
The Jazz got a lot of questionable calls, but you get those when you ATTACK the basket.... Toronto settled for jumpers and thus lost.... One team is a playoff contender, the other is still searching for toughness and identity. DD
If Utah goes 4-0 over the rest of the trip, then I would be very impressed. 11-0 is impressive, but if they get to 15-0, they'll probably get to 17-0 with the Rockets coming to town. At that point, I'd label them favorites to win it all.
Wasn't there a thread about how we should sign Pops Mensah-Bonsu? Cause that guy was easily the worst defender on the floor today. He got immediately yanked when AK blew right by him for the and 1. And that was the third layup he gave up.
Favorite to win it all? Damn, jumping on the bandwaggon aren't we. Jazz wont beat Indiana on the road. Indiana plays good teams well.
Agreed. The next 5 games for both Utah and Denver will be very telling. Can Denver beat up consistently on bad teams? Can Utah win on the road? I'm very curious to see how this week plays out.
I hope so too....but I didn't say favorites now, I wrote that if they went 17-0 with the Rockets coming to town...if they win that game, they'd be on a 18 game win streak. I then would call them Western Conference favorites: 18 game winning streak down the stretch run with wins over the Rockets, Nuggets, Hornets, Celtics, and Lakers....that's called making a statement as the team to be reckoned with. That said, it hasn't happened yet, and I still think and hope that they're going to get at least 2 losses over the next 4 games.
Does anyone else think that hesitation move D-Williams does is blatant carrying/palming almost every time? The ball rests at the top of it's bounce for about a half second, which allows Williams to just hesitate there and see if the defender will come out on him. If he doesn't, Williams just pops, otherwise he drives. It's total bs.
