If anyone else think they deserve an update - please let me know what you want updated most. Also, Nomar - I have sent you on a holliday. If you want to keep your team please let me know. I will have you on holliday for a while, and if you dont have the time or dont want to be in the league I will just retire you. Please let me know. And a new round will be ready in the chat around 6 PM. Also not shown in the update is a midweek round in D2 were the last team got up to 9 games. Sorry to say DV, but you lost.
http://users2.ev1.net/~chkemp/ccnet/cmleague/ Updated textfiles for round 11 in. And also average ratings split into position for Div2, Div3 and the conference. I guess we can start round 12 now.
http://users2.ev1.net/~chkemp/ccnet/cmleague/ Updated textfiles for round 14 in. (yesterday) Some updated files for Darlington and Torquay. Stats - 4 screens for the first team + a brand new one for the reserve team. Finances I guess we will have difficulty starting a round today with the chat problems, unless we can do it over ICQ, AIM or another mirc server/channel.
http://users2.ev1.net/~chkemp/ccnet/cmleague/ Lincoln also got their stats and the finances screen updated.
http://users2.ev1.net/~chkemp/ccnet/cmleague/ Still no luck getting connected to the chat with my primary line. But I think we can get a round in today using the BBS. I'm currently uploading last match screenshots for the teams, and using that screen combined with the textfiles/other info on the site you should be able to put up a lineup for one round (including 5 subs). Extra info needed for a few teams - Injury report: Macclesfield: Adams and Proctor out Torquay: Graham (and Ashington) out Swansea: O'Leary (and Gregson) out Lincoln: Paul Smith, Finnigan (and Morgan) out Bristol Rovers: Thomson still semi-injured... but you played him in this state last game, and he is closer to be getting back to full now Cheltenham: Victory, Williams, Naylor and Hopkins out And as this is is a tuesday round - conditions under 90% Cheltenham: Moraitis 85, Alsop 86 Bristol Rovers: Poulsen 87, Larsen 88, McKeever 89 Lincoln: McConville 85 Darlington: Holmes 87 Swansea: Appleby 80, Romo 88, Williams 88 Carlisle: Hore 80, Harkin 88, Jack 88, Hopper 89 Torquay: Burgess 85, Phiri 89 Macclesfield: Stein 89 Mansfield: Allen 87 The selected match update is going a bit slow, but the files are coming - currently up: Cheltenham, Bristol R, Lincoln, Swansea, Darlington, Carlisle In que: Hull, Macclesfield, Torquay BTW - if you want the same team for some reason, you still need to post, or else it is not sure it is done with the same team.
Man, that sucks. Well, here's my lineup with all these injuries: DL Walker - forward run DC Howarth DC Kleine DR Duff - forward run DMC Yates ML Moraitis - forward run MC Jackson - long forward run MR Griffin - forward run SC Devaney SC Alsop SB1 Higgs SB2 Brough SB3 Willetts SB4 Sheppard SB5 Jones, Steve
Lincoln City GK - Andy Woods DL - Brendan McElholm DC - Con Blatsis DC - Grant Brown DR - Jason Barnett ML - Carl Basker MC - Janne Salli MC - Chris McConville MR - Peter Gain SC - Greedy SC - Peter Smith(if back from suspension - if not, David Cameron) Sub1 - Peter Trego Sub2 - Paul Mayo Sub3 - John Galliffant Sub4 - Tony Batersby Sub5 - John Hamsher I think all of this should be Ok.
http://users2.ev1.net/~chkemp/ccnet/cmleague/ The results from todays round: Bristol Rovers at Gillingham A Second Division 4:0 9239 Poulsen, McKeever, Larsen, J.Shore Hull vs Notts Co H Second Division 0:2 13494 Lincoln at Oldham A Second Division 3:3 7858 Basker, Greedy, McConville Swansea at Bournemouth A Second Division 1:1 7144 Stockley Carlisle at Mansfield A Third Division 1:0 5690 Hore Cheltenham at Plymouth A Third Division 0:2 6536 Darlington at Leyton Orient A Third Division 2:2 4547 Caldwell, Heckingbottom Macclesfield at Brentford A Third Division 0:2 4232 Torquay vs Rochdale H Third Division 1:2 3823 Benefield So only two teams came away with a win - and who would have thought that Bristol should be one of them - winning convincingly 4-0 away at Gillingham.
http://users2.ev1.net/~chkemp/ccnet/cmleague/ Textfiles updated. Division 3 is insane - look how close it is from #19 up to playoff. If only we can start to win more often there is a good chance for all teams to fight for playoffs, or even direct promotion. Just need the top teams to start losing. The chance that 4 human controlled team will promote is though getting smaller for each week, so this can be the year where we get most of the exitement through playoffs. I have started thinking of bringing in a top player to my team, but I wont give up on the current crop just yet. but if they dont move up soon....
http://users2.ev1.net/~chkemp/ccnet/cmleague/ Textfiles updated (round 17) New round starting in the chat.... Division 2 is also pretty close, but nothing compared to D3, 7 pts from 21 to 6!!!! (5 from 19)
Mentality: Attacking Passing: Direct Tackling: Hard Pressing: Yes Offside Trap: No Counter Attack: No Men Behind Ball: No 2-2-3-1-2 --x-x-- ---x--- -x-x-x- x-----x --x-x-- Whitehead SC, Corns SC Stein AMC Byrne MC, Gonzalez MC, Eyre MC Adams DML, Abbey DMR Came DC, O'Neil DC Wilson GK Bench: Emberson (GK), Munroe (F RC), McKenzie (D C), Tracey (SC), Hitchen (D/DM R/L)
http://users2.ev1.net/~chkemp/ccnet/cmleague/ Textfiles updated (round 22) New round starting in the chat.... Correia selected player for you Zac Also updated defenders average in D3 Also as I have big problems updating to the server I might sometimes put up testfiles/infoscreens at this site: http://home.no.net/midgaard/cmleague/ although all the links is shown here too, it is only the the mentioned files that are active.
http://users2.ev1.net/~chkemp/ccnet/cmleague/ Textfiles updated (round 29) New round in the chat. Also updated is manager info and shortlist for Macclesfield, Lincoln and Cheltenham. Also as I have big problems updating to the server I might sometimes put up testfiles/infoscreens at this site: http://home.no.net/midgaard/cmleague/ although all the links are shown here too, it is only the the mentioned files that are active.
http://users2.ev1.net/~chkemp/ccnet/cmleague/ I finally got the textfiles updated again (round 36) as I tried uploading with my backup connection. And with the latest development chances are increasing that we can get more than one team promoted out of D3. Lincoln also looks to be on their way to D1 next season, and Swansea still also have a shot for promotion in D2. In D3 pretty much all but one team are still in with a chance (although if Macclesfield win their last 10 they will finish with enough points to have qualified them at #7 last season, so you never know). With the results going the right way, we might even get 3 out of D3, with two promoting directly, and the last one through playoffs. (Theoretically there could still be even 4 - but that is stretching it) Will start up CM stuff in the chat now.
http://users2.ev1.net/~chkemp/ccnet/cmleague/ Textfiles updated after round 44 - two more rounds two go. With everything looking up last post - the opposite is the fact now. We have two bright spots. Lincoln have clinched promotion to D1 and realisticly also clinched the division title. Carlisle tops Div 3, but still need 2 more pts to clinch promotion. After those teams it is none currently looking to promote. Swansea is just out of the playoffs in D2, and would realisticly need to win their last two games to get into the playoffs - if they can do that they actually have a good chance of making it - although they need Bristol C to lose 3 pts, Wigan to lose 4 pts or Notts Co to lose 5pts. This might seem like much, but with the schedule for the 3 teams mentioned the chances are that atleast one of them will fall out. Mansfield is also just out of the playoffs in D3, and also needs to win both their games to have a realistic shot to get into the playoffs. They are only 2 pts behind Bury, but have a much worse GD so they need to gain 3 pts on them. Shrewsbury is 5 pts ahead with a similar GD so they could also be a long shot. Also with a minimal chance to make the playoffs is Torquay, but then they need Bury to lose out and Mansfield to not win any of the last two games. Also need Northampton to lose pts. The last two updates have also included stats updated for Macclesfield, Swansea and Plymouth. Plymouth also with updated selection info this time. Round 45 starting in the chat now.
http://users2.ev1.net/~chkemp/ccnet/cmleague/ Well - The season is over, and preperations for season 3 starts. Congrats to Castor and Puedlfor for winning their divisions and promoting. To everyone else - better luck next year. I tell you all - this upcoming season is Mansfields last chance for promotion before I start applying for better teams. (Hope my reputation is good enough). All textfiles now updated so managers can start planning the contract negotiations - for those of you that havent done this during the season. This is even easier for all you D3 teams as the season stats is also uploaded. I do not see that the D2 teams are long behind as atleast Swansea stats was uploaded only a few rounds before the end. I will do the rest of the updating later. Btw attendances and player averages filtered in position is also updated for D3.
