Clyde Drexler = MIP (Most Improved Commentator) I just posted this on the game thread. What do you guys think? He was actually alright these last two games. How 'bout we switch Clyde and Bull so Clyde does road games, while Bull does home games.
He has gotten better but there was nowhere to go but up from where he started from. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best, he started off at -3. Looks like Drexler has finally discovered a learning curve.
Am I the only one that finds Clyde hilarious? Even his awkward comments are hilarious to me. I think Bull's style is very textbook and dry
<br> Acronym fail? MIC maybe?? Also, I never though Clyde was that bad. I guess I happened to pay attention when Van Chancellor or Cynthia Cooper were on the air....
-3 LMAO. Its because he was so bad that he was entertaining to listen to though. I'd take him over Matt "zzzz" Bullard anyday.
These past few games it might seem like Clyde's comments have been more relevant--this is because some fat dude has been sitting behind the scenes pressing buttons on a Clyde Drexler Soundboard. Clyde's been on vacation playing golf for the last month, but his comments are all so generic that no one has noticed any difference except that a rational human being has actually started applying his cookie-cutter comments to relevant developments in the basketball game.
Btw someone on Clutchfans should get started working on a Clyde Drexler Soundboard as good as this . I would play with it all day. And then get murdered by my roommate.
Bullard slipped up with his song title joke comedy act. Clyde has reduced his Drexlerisms, throwing a few nuggets of truth in there now and then. He has def. improved.
Clyde last night after the play where Evans got blocked by Hayes but they called a jumpball. "Oh come on, that is either a travel or turnover"
I didn't watch much last night, but he did seem improved in the phoenix games I don't watch many games however
