I don't watch it in it's entirity, that's too tiring. I come back and fourth every couple of minutes or so. Unless you understand the language, it's pretty weird. The only foreign language I would listen to while watching a game is soccer (no, MLS doesn't count) :)

But I do appreciate CCTV very much for broadcasting the games that us non-cable people aren't able to watch on tv.

I'd rather have Walton than Clyde, I dont care if Walton didnt play for the Rockets.

YAO! THROW IT DOWN BIG MAN!

My favorite was when he said "ROBERT HORRY, the Greatest playoff performer since Michael Jordan"

it's like the Rockets broadcasting team are a bunch of monkeys. they can't seem to hire anyone decent. Cynthia Cooper, Drexler, and now Mario Elie. Bullard is their best hire so far and that isn't saying much.

Bullard wants to be a national broadcaster so he doesn't hype up the rockets. He picked the rockets to score fewer than 55 wins this year, what's up with that??

And now I know why Clyde didn't work out as the U of H coach. He rarely has a thought of his own.

We need the Murph back. Bill and Murphy are a great tandom.

I like it when Clyde talks like Dikembe. Aside from that, it's definitely time for Calvin to make his return.

    Free Calvin!

I’m tired of Clyde too, but I definitely don’t want Calvin back.

I’m just amazed that so many people are willing to completely forget that 5 daughters accused him of sexual assault, even if he was acquitted. I don’t understand why the possibility that this is true isn’t enough to at least make people hesitate before giving him a blanket support.

I was one of Calvin’s biggest fans for years. Many years when the Rockets were losing, he was the only reason I would watch them. I loved his personality, analysis, and energy he brought to the program. I would love to believe the charges against him were completely untrue…But I know better.

When kids are abused, many of them never press charges because they think the process of confrontation is not worth the pain. It’s extremely unlikely that 5 daughters would want to subject themselves to the media glare on their personal life, if the charges weren’t true.

I want to believe the person I saw on television was the real guy, but I know there’s probably another side that very few people see. Even if the charges against him were untrue, which I seriously doubt, is there anybody that believes he’s been a good father, and for some strange reason he has 5 daughters that hate him enough to just make up these charges to destroy his reputation?

It just seems like there’s very few people on the board that even want to discuss the possibility that the charges against Calvin are true, and he is in fact a pedophile. At the very least, people should acknowledge these charges could be true and take them seriously.

how would you know? if 5 daughters get 5 million dollars of out it, then would they go through the media?

calvin went through a trial for this, are you the judge?

so you are judging him even though he was aquitted by a court of law?
so what? if Calvin had 1000 daughters, there's still 50/50 chance that any person is lying.

    were you at a trials?
    are you a lawyer?

its great to know that people make judgements regardless of evidence.

I actually got used to Clyde.. it's really nice to have a laugh every game about "that's called: taking it to the hole" and "nothing but net"...

I know y'all might not agree with me, but I think the best commentator is Van Chancellor.. the guy was really good ... his analysis was really great and he knew what he was talking about, that's not mentioning his accent.. omg, I used to laugh so hard every game.. the guy made every game intersting.. even the ones that we got blown out it...

    bring back Coach Chancellor

I think I have a new favorite. From last night, it went something like this:

Bill: So early in the game it has been a battle of the big men.

Clyde: They are really going at each other...and it is early in the game! (exclamation as if it is a new point)
