There’s no way the Suns make the playoffs next season, for all the reasons already mentioned in this thread…Dragic is good but obviously a downgrade from Nash…Beasley seriously sucks - I think Clyde just remembers that game he went off on us and thinks he's good…If Wes Johnson gets playing time his team will be worse every second he’s on the floor…Scola is a positive addition, but not enough to make up for the gap between Dragic and Nash and then some.

Clyde and his basketball analysis prove to be an embarrassment once again.

It matters, just not as much as with other players. He's going to decline some athletically, but there wasn't much there to being with. I think the drop off will be almost neglected this year by Scola's competitiveness....i think he feels like he has to prove himself again, after being "dumped" and now on a new team.

Gortat may take away touches, it just depends on how they're going to approach teams on offense.

Even if you're right about that, they're still both on the same boat, it's all mental. Either one could significantly help a team if they go it, which is different from not being good due to a lack of skills. I wouldn't completely give up on guys like that until they're deep into their prime years of age. Beasley is 24, i think, just about to enter it. Sometimes all it takes is the right, or better, environment.

Sorry Clyde but your wrong this time. No way are they getting 4th/5th seed in a stacked Western Conference.

    OKC/Lakers/Spurs/Clippers/Nuggets
are going to be the top 5 teams most likely.
Then we have the Mavs, Grizzlies, Timberwolves, Jazz, GSW(if healthy). 8th seed is even a stretch imo.

Drexler watches absolutely NO BASKETBALL outside of the games he announces and even then he's barely cognizant. The guy was a phenomenal basketball player. But he knows nothing about the game and I wish he would just go away.

Suns are not only mediocre, but appear to have blown a lot of cap space to boot. Dragic will be untradeable with his player option.

It's still early but Drexler's prediction sounded more like a jnix. :-(

If you listen to his speech, he's just too inexperienced to have gotten into sportscasting any other way than through being a bball player. He slurs his words, doesn't mesh well with his cocasters (Worell incredulously, "Can that even be called an assist???" Clyde dubiously, "Yes, if the player takes 3 dribbles then it can be an assist!!")

    Jesus christ!!!

Bill Simmons thought this team would be one of the worst in the NBA. Sounds about right.

Well, he was never going to dog the home team when asked by that team's local media.

That was a jab at the Jazz and Stockton. It sounded like he had some sort of inside joke going on there with Worrell and Bull.

Yeah, he was referring to the Jazz's Diabolical Duo. Not sure why, out of all the flubs and dumb things Clyde has said, ch0c0b0fr34k chose to use one of the few times he was actually clever/funny as an example against him.

While I didn't expect them to finish 4th/5th, I'm still wondering where it went wrong.

I thought they would be the Rockets of the past 3 years -- mediocre, 9th seed, 14th pick.
