    This is GRAND!

Sign Dwight. Trade Asik and Motie for KLove. Trade Jeremy, TJones, TRob for Paul.

    Paul
    Harden
    Parsons
    Dwight
    Love

    Beverley
    Anderson
    Ohlbrecht
    Whiteside
    GSmith

Then I hope DH12 happens and the Lakers look like a laughingstock for losing him, and for Kupchak's laying it on thick with "I believe [Dwight]'ll have his own statue in front of the Staples Center one day."

James Harden + DH12 would be beyond belief. Get a real power forward as well---ours are all still developing---and we'd kill the league.

What happens if both Dwight and CP3 decide to sign with the Rockets this summer ala 2010 in Miami?

Would you guys be ok with losing Lin and Asik to have Harden/Paul/Howard trio?

    PG- Chris Paul
    SG- James Harden
    SF- Chandler Parsons
    PF- Thomas Robinson
    C- Dwight Howard

Now that sure is GRAND alright.

I've been thinking about this possibility and it's not too implausible. If the Lakers don't make the play-offs and the Clippers stumble out of the first round...

CP3 and Dwight had been discussing moving together a while back I think. The Clippers owner also has a history of being stingy. CP3 and Dwight are both chasing Championships and might see that the writing is on the wall for their prospective teams.

Realistically though, this ain't gonna happen. LA is the promised land.

Yep, it is highly unlikely but it sure helps that Harden and Paul are BFF's.

Wow, you guys will believe anything. It only took a "everything just fell apart and I was just joking about blah blah and inquiries yada yada" post to get y'all back on the wagon. Ha.

Paul isn't leaving LA but who wouldn't be ok with losing a role player and a solid center for the two best players at their positions?

The truth is, no one, not even the directly involved GMs, can tell you in advance that a single deal "will" go down 1-2 weeks in advance and be right even half the time.

These things are always moving targets, and 90-98% of NBA trade talks fizzle out, even ones that start out hot. DR can only talk to us about one dancer at the Tango.

Folks would do well to THANK those brave enough to toss us nuggets of information, even while understanding that it only tells us what the front office is up to more than it is what they will accomplish. Those insiders clue us in and give rumors validation, even if things don't pan out most of the time.

But maybe it's more fun being the snarky guy after the fact and teaching guys like Doc that it's not worth the bother to hook you up with inside scoops about Morey's plans.

I'm just curious about the notion that if we can't get Howard that we'd go after Bynum? Any truth to that?
I could understand going after Dwight but I'd rather keep Asik and look to upgrade other spots than to pursue Bynum
    Any insight into this Doc?
