For what it's worth, I'm friends with another power forward that plays in the NBA. I went to school with him during my undergrad years. Mentioned this in the game chat, but I was speaking to him and he told me that his agent said Houston is serious about prying him away. This power forward is on a chronically losing team and has a very friendly salary.

Of course, I've been flamed in the past, but it IS okay to know people with intel haha. As I've said before, I'm close to NeNe's extended family (wife's side). However, this has nothing to do with NeNe. So flame me if you'd like. I'm not talking about NeNe, though. He's stuck in Washington for now.

Anyway, I would like to think that Garnett is a smokescreen.

At this point, I would MUCH rather have Brandon Bass. He doesn't have a ring though, so I don't know if the clue fits.

BTW...I uh really don't see the point of bringing in Garnett, if true. We're stacked deep with young PFs and still a player or two away from contending even with KG and Harden. I just can't see the reasoning for going after da kid. Gasol would work so much better IMO but sadly I know that aint happening.
